Chapter Twenty-Nine

“'You're my heart heart heart heart heart-breaker~'” I sung along to Jiyong's new song 'Heartbreaker' and it got me all pumped up for the first show of my tour, the 'Freakum Tour'. The first show is in Frankfurt, Germany, and the tour will cover Europe and the USA with two or three shows in South Korea.

Jiyong and I's birthday has passed and we had a joint birthday party of the 28^th of August so we could celebrate our birthdays together as we are in different countries most of the time. I got Jiyong a gummy bear chair for his studio and he got me a years worth of gummy bears. Gummy bears....

Fast forward to the 21^st of November, 2009, I am sitting in the audience of the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) as Jiyong has a nomination for 'Album of the Year' and I am hear for support. Next to me sits 2NE1 as we listen to the opening speech.

“And the winner of Mnet Asian Music Award's 'Album of the Year' goes to... G-Dragon- 'Heartbreaker'.” the MC announced and Jiyong stood up and the girls and I stood up and applauded and Jiyong gave me a quick hug as he passed me.

The after party was amazing, all the artists were there and I got to meet a lot of the other South Korean artists that I have never met before like the After School girls, the sweet boys from U-KISS and the men of Super Junior.

I also attended Jiyong's first solo concert 'Shine A Light' and, oh my god, it was great! A fan of both me and Jiyong spotted me and we ended up dancing together while he sung. It was a great night.

A week later I was in my hometown of Houston, Texas, and I was performing one night and the lights went off and then slowly came back up.

“Thank you so much, Houston. You've been amazing.” I blew kisses to the audience and walked off the stage.

After the concert, I met Lady Gaga. I went to her studio and we decided to write two songs that we would sing together. 'Telephone' was her song and then 'Video Phone Remix' would be mine.

I called Jiyong that night to share the news with him but he didn't pick up so I tried Youngbae and he picked up.

“Youngbae-yah!”

“Ah, Mila-yah! How are you?” he asked.

“I'm great. I have exciting news to tell you all. I tried Jiyong earlier but he didn't pick up so I hoped you would be with the guys.” I told him.

“Oh, okay, just let me call them over. Yah, Mila has news tell us, Seungri-yah, wake up Jiyong-ie.” I heard Youngbae yell to the others. I heard noises of complaint and I giggled when I heard Jiyong grumble about being woken up.

“What's the news, noona?” Daesung asked over the phone.

“I'm going to be working with Lady Gaga on two projects.” I squealed in excitement.

“Eh, who's that?” Youngbae asked dumbly. I could hear the guys exploding at his comment.

“Only the artist that did 'Just dance~ Gonna be okay. Dada doo doot-n~ Just dance~' and 'Can't read my, can't read, no he can't read my poker face~'” Seungri sung and Youngbae made a noise of recognition.

“When will the record be out?” Jiyong asked.

“You'll have to wait a couple of months but it will be amazing.”

The response has been crazy, so far, all my albums have debuted at No. 1 so I have high hopes, even if it is just a remix album.

The weeks passed by and I have been to so many different cities in that time, it's crazy. The song I recorded with Lady Gaga, 'Telephone' was released.

Lady Gaga was a guest while I was doing the LA show and we sung that song together.

“Thank you so much! Give it up for the one and only Lady Gaga!” I cheered her off after giving her a hug and moved on.

Big Bang are starting their Japanese tour and I haven't been able to talk to Jiyong in ages, he's always so busy. I do try texting him and calling him but he never gets back to me. My tour finishes in a month's time so I will be able to see him then.

By the time the beginning of March comes along (from the beginning of February), I have been to Anaheim, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Portland, Boise, Spokane, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and I am now in Moscow, Russia.

I recently made it onto the Forbes list at #4 with $80 Million on me. Oh, I forgot to mention. My sister is pregnant. Like, 8 months pregnant! She was in a music video we are still recording with her big belly featured.

I am soon shipped back to the USA to perform at the Oscars, I will be perform 'Proud Mary' by Tina Turner.

I am still touring and I am getting quite upset that I haven't been able to talk to Jiyong. Thoughts kept on going through my head like 'he doesn't want you' and 'what if he found someone else?' and 'he's found someone that suits him'. The hate mail is still coming in and it's not helping my situation any more. My fans are amazing and all the shows have been sold out and I have received many amazing (and expensive) gifts. My fans are the best in the world, go Royal Court!

There are ten days between the last concert I did to the last stop. Those days were spent filming 'Baby Boy' ft. Sean Paul, 'Cater 2 U', 'Get Me Bodied', 'Bills Bills Bills' ft. 2NE1, 'Video Phone' ft. Lady Gaga, 'Freakum Dress', 'Love On Top' and 'Soldier' ft. Lil' Wayne and Kelly Rowland.

I got a call from Jiyong one night, quite early in the morning but I was happy to speak to him, none the less.

“Amila! I'm so sorry haven't been able to speak to you in ages.” he immediately apologised.

“It's alright, J. what have you been up to?” I smiled into the phone.

“Well, we had concerts in Japan for a while so I decided to stay for a little holiday.” he told me hesitantly.

“J, it's only me. Why are you so tense?” I laughed uncertainly.

“Just pressure to produce more music from sajang-nim. It's nothing I can't handle.” I told me.

“Have you missed me?” I asked teasingly.

“Of course. Why wouldn't I? Have you missed me?” he teased back.

“Yeah, too much. Have you... done anything... while I was gone?” I asked nervously. The thoughts have been plaguing me for ages that I had to ask.

“What do you mean?”

“... have you... you know... been with another girl?” I slowly asked, scared of the answer.

“Why would you say that?! I don't get you, Amila. Have you been messing around with guys while away?” he shouted defensively after a stunned silence.

“No- of course not- I was-”

“Talk to me when you have your head on straight.” then he hung up, leaving me in tears. I seriously ed up.

Eventually, I am finally back in South Korea for my last show. I arrived this morning and I have been thrown into rehearsals. I haven't been able to see my family or my boyfriend. The 2NE1 girls did come to see the concert and came backstage to greet me. I was performing my last song and it was so emotional.

With that amazing feeling, the feeling of love, I drove home to Jiyong. He has been staying at my mama's apartment to focus on his music while my mama was in the USA. She is staying with my sister for a while so we will have the apartment to ourselves for a few days. Hopefully, I will be able to make amends.
