It's Not Easy You Twit
KissesThis piece is inspired by both the Easy and Twit MV's because of their parallels. And let's face it, Wheein and Hyejin left those dudes for each other, became girlfriends and got married. Am I right or am I right? ;D
Enjoy!
Hyejin stared at Wheein’s solemn face and moved her hand to gently run it down her jawline. Wheein seemed to get even more beautiful as the years went by and Hyejin could feel her heart speed up just being in the presence of her best friend. They had been through everything together since they were 13, and here they were, in a restaurant, in a very intimate booth sitting next to each other.
Even though both had never expressed their true feelings to each other, they both knew that deep down they were in love with each other. They were soulmates — bonded through eternity forever. They had found each other in past lives, in their current ones, and would so in future lives. Wheein belonged to Hyejin, and Hyejin belonged to Wheein.
Society told them that a relationship with each other wasn’t right. It told them that they couldn’t be together. That it wasn’t...natural. But in their hearts, their bodies and their souls they knew that society was wrong about everything. The belonged together and they needed to tell each other before it was too late.
They were both currently dating guys. Guys they had met around the same time and guys that at the time seemed like the right fit as partners and to what society expected of them. But after dating them for a year, they both knew neither of them could be with these guys.
“I’ve tried so hard Hyejin. I’ve given it my all to love him, to be the perfect girlfriend who loves and supports him, but he’s just so cold. He doesn’t show me love or affection. He’s just...there.” Wheein sighed and leaned into Hyejin’s embrace.
