“I’m really glad you said yes to this.” Jongdae grinned as the two stood in front of Baekhyun’s house. The soft amber light of a nearby lamppost shone down on them, keeping the darkness of the night from completely enveloping the two as the stars twinkled brightly in the pitch-black sky.

Baekhyun’s face reddened as he stared at the cement sidewalk, unable to look at Jongdae in the eye. His hand was still grasped tightly between Jongdae’s thin fingers, having walked hand-in-hand for the entire duration of their first date together. “I-I’m glad you asked me.”

“Do you think we could…go on another date soon?” Jongdae used his free hand to gently tilt Baekhyun’s face up so they were staring directly into each other’s eyes.

“I-I’d like that.” Baekhyun didn’t want to go inside just yet. He wanted to continue basking in this precious moment of just the two of them together. He slowly inhaled the musky vanilla scent of Jongdae’s cologne, which surprisingly hadn’t faded throughout the long day they had spent together.

The two continued standing where they were, not daring to end this wonderful first date. A light breeze blew through the air and a small yellowing leaf fluttered down from an overhanging birch tree in the front yard of Baekhyun’s property. It landed squarely on Baekhyun’s fluffy jet-black hair, causing Jongdae to giggle softly as he lightly brushed it off of his adorable date.

“I guess I’ll go in now,” Baekhyun said awkwardly. He didn’t want to leave Jongdae just yet, but what else could they do?

“Okay.” Jongdae nodded. “But before you go…”

And suddenly, Baekhyun felt a pair of warm, velvety lips on his own. His heart immediately began racing as he realized that Jongdae had stolen his first kiss. His first kiss.

Jongdae’s left hand s around Baekhyun’s back, pulling the older male’s body close to his as he slightly angled his head in a more comfortable position. Jongdae’s right hand was tenderly holding the back of Baekhyun’s small head, keeping his date still as he deepened the kiss. They both closed their eyes as they got lost in the moment, keeping their lips securely locked together.

It seemed like fireworks were going off around them. Baekhyun’s heart pounded loudly against his chest as the sweet taste of Jongdae wholly filled his senses. He never knew kissing could feel this good. It was a completely whole new world as he hungrily moved his lips against Jongdae’s while tightly wrapping his arms around the younger male’s thin body. Baekhyun felt like he was in heaven.

Jongdae would slightly pull away several times, but Baekhyun instantly moved forward each time, keeping their lips glued together. The younger male’s delicious taste was too addicting, too intoxicating, too much of everything for Baekhyun to allow him escape. Jongdae smiled into the kiss as he continued teasing his date by just barely moving their lips apart for a millisecond, causing Baekhyun to move closer and closer as he desperately continued this ardent kiss.

They didn’t know how long they stood there on Baekhyun’s porch, their bodies clasped together as their mouths moved simultaneously against each other while savoring the saccharine flavor that neither of them had ever encountered until just now. Their kiss turned sloppier and sloppier as the atmosphere around them grew more heated with every passing second. Until finally, they separated in order to catch their breath. Jongdae was slightly panting as he lightly swiped his thumb across his bottom lip, smirking like the devil when he glanced at the older male.

Baekhyun couldn’t stop blushing once they detached their lips from each other. God, that kiss was amazing. It was everything and more than he had ever imagined for his first kiss. And to share it with Jongdae of all people made it even more valuable than it already was.

He didn’t want Jongdae to leave him right now. Not just yet. “D-do you want to stay the night?” Baekhyun asked, silently praying that his date wouldn’t think that the proposal was weird or that they were progressing too quickly. After all, they had only been on one date together. But regardless, Baekhyun needed Jongdae with him at this moment, at least for a little bit longer.

He wanted to share more kisses with him. He wanted to cuddle with him and relax in his embrace. He wanted to feel Jongdae pressed up against him, like their bodies were connecting pieces of the same puzzle set.

Jongdae continued smirking as he leaned forward and placed his mouth near Baekhyun’s ear. “That kiss wasn’t enough for you? Still can’t get enough of me?” he asked in amusement, the vibrations from the lower, rumbling register of his voice sending electric shocks throughout Baekhyun’s slender body.

That’s it.

Baekhyun immediately pulled the younger male into the empty house, answering with a boldness he never knew possessed, “I can never get enough of you.” And then he zealously used one hand to hold Jongdae’s face in place as he went in for a second kiss, using the other hand to firmly shut the front door behind them.
