HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR WONDERFUL LAY THE BAE!!

To commemorate this momentous occasion, I deliver another double update!

But wow, can you believe our darling sheep is finally thirty years old?!

Like I know he isn’t the oldest EXO member, so this shouldn’t be a shock, especially if we consider the members’ Korean ages. and you’d think i'd be used to this, considering i'm a 2nd-gen fan and most of my favs are in their 30’s now LOL

But still! When I think about how he was a youngster when he first debuted and now he’s a MAN, it just blows my mind how quickly time has passed over the years.

Even so, Yixing is still BOOKED and BUSY as ever, which we love to hear! This season’s lineup for Street Dance of China might actually be my favorite so far, considering Yixing and Han Geng are both captains and I have a soft spot for Henry as well. :’) Now if only I had time to watch it…

But I digress.

I received some very exciting news regarding Yixing several months ago that I cannot divulge, but it's news that makes me grateful every day to be the person I am and to not take anything for granted. As long as I work hard, work hard, and work even harder, I can accomplish my dreams. :)

So thank you, Yixing, for helping me remember how important it is to always do your best. Because those who do are duly rewarded.

When I think about how exhausted I am this year especially, I remember how you juggle a million things and do them all WELL.

In spite of your busy schedule, you made time to participate in EXO’s comeback this year and that meant THE WORLD to all of us.

I straight-up bawled my eyes out when you appeared in the MV. I missed you SO much with the other boys and I'm just eternally grateful you were able to participate in this special album as we go through another drought of EXO content.

OT9 truly has the strongest bond of all and I’m hopeful we’ll get a full comeback once everyone has finished their military service.

Until then, we continue to support your solo endeavors and it makes me so happy to know that you have cemented yourself as an icon in the Chinese music industry. You put in the work and you are reaping the well-deserved benefits of that hard work.

And most of all, you have such a beautiful and kind heart, Yixing. And that’s more important than anything else.

While the road has been filled with obstacles, you’ve never given up and that’s why you continue to shine like the star that you are.

One day, I hope I can show you what I’ve accomplished. Because none of it could not have been done without your helpful advice and wisdom.

Let’s work hard, work hard, and work even harder while we can.

It will all be worth it in the end.
