And we are celebrating with our very first Rewind chapter!

Legit, this is the year of Baekhyun.

Like he was already killing it last year with his historic solo debut, breaking records left and right, and juggling so many promotions and tours.

And this year, we’ve already got a solo brand deal friendship ended with nature republic, i only shop at tirtir now. jk still love you nature republic, esp bc i’m too broke to shop at tirtir rn lol rip OTL and his solo comeback and solo OSTs and a solo magazine shoot and his dream collab and a surprise V-Live and it’s not even halfway through 2020 yet! :’)

GET THAT COIN, BYUN!

I’m so happy that we’re still getting so much content, despite the current pandemic putting a pause on everything else.

Back in February, I already had a feeling that the solo comeback wasn’t going to happen in April like it was initially planned. And I’m somewhat surprised that it’s happening in May, but since the situation is under control in Korea, it makes sense that everyone is making up for the missed opportunities from March and April.

It that he’s not having a birthday party this year like he usually does and that promotions will likely be minimal, especially without proper fan engagement, but public health comes first! Everyone’s safety is the most important factor and seeing how well Suho’s solo promotions went last month, I’m sure Baekhyun’s will be just as great! ^^

I know everyone is nervous about when he might enlist and I’d be lying if I said I weren’t nervous as well, especially since Suho is finally enlisting.

But, unpopular opinion, I’d be lying even more if I denied how much I wanted him to enlist ASAP last year. Seeing how overworked and exhausted he was in 2019 was absolutely heartbreaking as a Baekhyun stan. He was literally going non-stop from April 2019 until February 2020 and if it weren’t for the pandemic, who knows when he would’ve gotten a proper break.

Even though he’s been releasing a lot of content in the past few weeks, it’s not at the cost of his health, which I’m very thankful for. I feel more comfortable consuming this content, knowing that he isn’t working himself to death to provide it to us.

I know that your second album is going to be a DELIGHT, hehe, like your first one and I’m so, so excited to listen to the new tracks! ^^

and i’m also super grateful that i got to spend the last day of 2019 and the decade with you and the other exo members <3 it was one of the most memorable nights of my life yet

Regardless of when you have to enlist, whether it’s this year or next, I’ll always be here supporting you and watching you ascend to the next level of your already illustrious career!
