HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR AMAZING BBY BAEK!!

And we are here with another double update to celebrate!

But wow, I can't believe it's already been one year since you enlisted, Baekhyun.

And what a year it's been.

So many ups-and-downs in both the fandom life and my personal life, and it really puts into perspective how much can happen in a single year.

I'm definitely not the same person I was a year ago with so many new experiences and opportunities, and it makes me wonder what kind of person I'll be by the time you come back. At the very least, I hope I'll be someone you can be proud of. :')

And this is probably the most detached from the fandom I've been, simply because none of my biases were active in Korea until a few weeks ago. So it's been...weird to focus solely on myself and my own career.

Regardless, I hope you've been serving well, serving safely, and enjoying civilian life. I hope you're getting enough sleep at night, eating good food, and staying in contact with close friends and family.

It's weird not getting constant SNS updates from you, but I guess that also makes the random updates even more precious when we do finally get them, hehe. :')

And I also can't believe you're thirty years old now!

and i don't know if i'll ever believe it, considering how the fountain of youth has blessed you and you still look 18 LOOOOOL

You've finally hit the next decade of life and I hope it's only filled with happiness, good health, and success because you deserve only the best things in life. Especially after giving your twenties to us and enduring so much this past decade.

You're the true definition of a star, Baekhyun.

You were made for the stage. You were made for the spotlight.

And not gonna lie, it's been a little empty without you in K-Pop this past year.

But we will persevere. We will continue to wait patiently until next year.

And thank you again for giving us so many gifts before you enlisted, because it makes waiting for you a little less painful with masterpiece albums like Bambi and monthly KyoongTube videos to keep us company. :)

You'll be back before we know it.

And when you do return, it'll be the most glorious celebration for the brightest star in the sky. ^^
