3 years later…
Taeyeon woke up alone in her bed. She glanced at the clock and noticed it was already noon, so she stood up lazily and went to the kitchen.
“Good morning.” She said, yawning.
“Good morning, Tae.” You said, smiling. You were reading the newspaper.
“You know how to read?” She asked, getting a snack. You glared at her.
“Yes, I do.” You said, frowning. She ruffled your hair.
“Why are you looking at it?” She asked, sitting beside you.
“I’m looking for a job.” You said and she frowned.
Taeyeon’s dad walked in the kitchen.
“___, are you done with the paper?” He asked and you nodded, giving it to him. “Thank you.” He said, and started walking out.
“Uncle?” You said and he turned to look at you. “Can I talk to you?”
“Sure, what is it?” He asked, sitting down.
“Umm… I was wondering…” You said. Taeyeon and her dad looked at you confused. “Can I move back to my house?” You asked. Taeyeon went wide eyed and her dad just smiled.
“Of course you can, but why do you want to move back?” He asked.
“Well… It’s been three years since they… died, and I think I’m ready to go back.” You said, lowering your head. Taeyeon wrapped her arm around you and kissed your head.
Ever since your parents died in the plane crash, you’ve been staying at Taeyeon’s place even though your parent’s house is yours. Taeyeon’s parents are your legal guardians and the insurance company takes care of your studies through high school.
A few days later…
“Taetae, are you going to let me carry anything?” Tiffany asked with her arms crossed.
“But princess… I don’t want you to get tired.” Taeyeon said pouting. You just chuckled and continued carrying stuff inside your house.
You placed the box you were carrying on the living room floor and looked around. Everything was the way you and your parents left it before they went on their vacation, except for a few things that you and Taeye
