When Monday morning arrived, you woke up tired. You had spent half the night thinking about what happened at the movies and you were nervous about the possibility of having to face Min Jun again in school.

Taeyeon noticed something was off as soon as she saw you enter the kitchen.

“What’s wrong? Are you feeling sick?” She asked, concerned. She then approached you, placing her hand on your forehead “You’re a little warm.”

“I’m just tired.” You told her sitting down.

She left the kitchen for a moment and came back with a thermometer.

“I’m fine Tae.” She handed you the thermometer and you took your temperature.

She was quiet while waiting and decided to busy herself by setting the table so you both could have breakfast.

When the thermometer beeped, you just handed it to her without even looking at it.

“See, I’m fine.” You told her and she frowned while reading it.

“___, you have to stay home” You frowned too. “You have a fever. I’ll call Hwasa to let her know.”

“But I’m fine.” You complained while feeling your own forehead. You noticed it was warmer than usual.

“Do you feel tired?” Taeyeon asked, sitting with you.

“A little, I didn’t sleep well.” You told her.

“Maybe you’re incubating something.” Taeyeon shrugged and you mirrored her.

“Maybe…”

Taeyeon managed to get you back in bed before she left. You weren’t feeling as good as you wanted to. Your nose got stuffy during breakfast and once you stopped worrying about facing Min Jun in school, you started feeling dizzy and your muscles ached.

“It could be the flu, we’ll get you an appointment with the doctor tomorrow if you’re still feeling sick.” Taeyeon told you while tucking you in.

“Okay.” You nodded, getting comfortable.

“I’ll call later to see how you’re doing, okay?” She placed your phone closer to you on the nightstand. You sneezed. “I’ll take that as a yes.” You both chuckled.

Your phone rang startling you. You reached for it and answered the call.
