Thirty
Push-ups
a/n something short and random ♡
Taemin was about 1 and a half years old and loved playing with everything he could grab on. He liked arranging those items the most, in some random patterns and for purposes only his little toddler mind understood. He played with the TV remotes, with the cup coasters, with little bowls and spoons, with the colorful cardboard cereal boxes, with neck pillows, and those other things he would find scattered around the house...and would just grab onto anything unless either Jonghyun or Jinki took it away from his reach.
Jonghyun had emptied his old cardboard box full of books and had a lot of stuff scattered on the carpet as he talked to Jinki, who was sitting opposite him, helping him find a book. Taemin was in between, playing with the safer things that Jonghyun had let him play with after he began whining stubbornly for some things that Jonghyun emptied from his box, attracted to their weird shapes and colors.
Suddenly, Taemin grabbed onto Jonghyun’s phone that somehow had gotten pushed towards his pile of eccentric toys. He played with it before he threw it ahead, not that hard enough to break it, but Jonghyun quietly grabbed onto it and put it in the pocket of his coat, not wanting his phone to meet its end the next time Taemin experimented with his strength.
Taemin crawled and dragged himself to peek inside Jonghyun’s pocket but Jonghyun picked him up and tickled him, distracting him effectively because when he put him back down, the little one went back to playing with Jonghyun’s big, blue eraser and plush keychains.
