Prompt from ChoiGiGi: Taemin & Minho doing Snapchat filters

It was Saturday but Jonghyun had to be at work for a few hours. Minho had stayed over so Taemin was less pouty about Jonghyun not being there all afternoon. He even got quickly distracted and was playing with Minho on the carpet, building a house, driveway with cars and a garden with lego. Jinki was feeling drowsy because he had eaten a little too much (their experiment in the kitchen had been a huge success, thanks to Jonghyun’s finishing touch in the end). He decided to rest a while and laid down on their reclining sofa, reclining it all the way, getting comfy as he put on a comedy show on moderate volume. A few minutes into it, Taemin had climbed onto the sofa and had lied down upon him, hugging him as he settled in the space Jinki made for him on the side.

“Jinnie,” The boy began, a little coy smile on his face as he rested his chin on his arms, the elbows resting on Jinki’s chest. “Can we play with ghostie?”

Jinki chuckled. Jonghyun had downloaded Snapchat on both their phones a couple of days back. Jonghyun probably had a bunch of friends who used it, but for Jinki, Jonghyun was the only one in his friend list for now. Jonghyun liked it quite a lot because he had been sending him snaps very often. Jinki only saw them and left him stickers and hearts- sometimes sending a selfie. Although Jonghyun had shown him how to bring the filters on the camera, he couldn’t remember it well so his photos had been pretty bland. He was planning to ask again but he kept forgetting. But somehow Taemin had remembered (he was in Jinki’s lap, watching with interest when Jonghyun had been doing the teaching) and he liked to play with the puppy filter, putting out his tongue and barking cutely, before giggling. Jinki figured the boy wanted to show it to Minho too.

“Okay,” Jinki replied, grabbing his phone from the side, “But only ghostie, don’t play with other things. Jinnie has some important stuff on his phone.”

“Yes, promise!’ Taemin grinned, taking the phone with a loud thank you and a little cuddle before he jumped down and settled on the other sofa, calling Minho to join him.

Jinki fell asleep soon, smiling as cute fits of laughter filled the room.

Jonghyun could feel his phone vibrate throughout the event in his pocket. He knew by the way it was vibrating that it was a string of text messages. He also knew it was probably not important because they were all coming on Snapchat. He chuckled when he saw that they were about ten snaps notified on his lock screen, thinking that perhaps Jinki had finally figured out the filters and was experimenting.
