“Something’s different.” Jonghyun sighed as Jinki and he were making dinner together.

“What is?” Jinki asked, blowing on a spoonful and extending it towards Jonghyun to taste.

“The way Taemin and Minho are nowadays.” Jonghyun said before tasting it, “Needs more salt.”

“Well they are teenagers now and...” Jinki replied, putting in more salt, “...everything’s gonna be changing more from now on. High school’s gonna end...then college...”

“I don’t mean individually.” Jonghyun pressed, “I mean...together, to each other.”

“Really?” Jinki smirked.

“Wait, just forget about it.” Jonghyun sighed, “I forgot I was talking to someone who shipped them from day one. Who knows, you might be just finally rubbing off on me.”

Jinki just chuckled in reply.

Jonghyun and Jinki were heading out for dinner one Saturday night and Taemin and Minho were home for a movie marathon. Jonghyun was gonna get inside the car but his heels, deciding to ask the two if they would like them to get back something to eat since they were gonna stay up late.

He entered the house but stopped short when he found Taemin and Minho making out in the kitchen. They broke apart when the popcorn began to pop and spotted Jonghyun watching them.

There was flustered guilt and fear on both of their faces as they waited for Jonghyun to react but all Jonghyun said was, “Want something from the restaurant?”

“N-No, thank you, Appa.” Taemin stuttered.

Jonghyun nodded, “The popcorn’s done by the way.” And he began to leave, only to turn back, trying to say something, but he couldn’t articulate it.

“Appa?”

“Ugh, fine!” Jonghyun gave up, “Just, just don’t do weird things. Bye.”

And he barged out, getting into the car, glancing at Jinki who was wearing a very amused expression, looking at the way Jonghyun had come back.
