Prompt: Little 2Min sleepover where a scary noise wakes them and Minho wets his pants

Jinki had woken up with a stuffy nose and he had a long day ahead of him. He had to visit other branches and had a couple of meetings and that meant he was going to come back home a wreck. And indeed he did. After all, colds were the only ailment no one knew the cure for and never went away until they had wreaked their desired havoc in the body.

So there he was after a warm shower and dinner, lying on the couch, watching a thriller movie at a low volume while Jonghyun did the dishes, keeping an eye on his husband as well as the two kids huddled together on the other couch, going through a picture book. It was the weekend and Jonghyun couldn’t be any grateful for it. Jinki could get some rest and he had already pre-recorded the weekend’s shows so he could stay in as well.

Minho was staying over every other weekend since the past month since his parent’s schedule had gotten packed. It was a temporary thing so Jonghyun had offered to look after him for the  entirety of the weekend- from Friday evening to dropping him off to school on the following Monday. Jonghyun actually liked having Minho around. He had grown fond of him and it was really endearing to see Taemin and Minho study and play together.

The picture book was long finished and the kids were sleepily watching the tv, Jinki drowsy as well. Jonghyun was wrapping up the dishes and by the time he was done, the TV had automatically switched off after the movie ended and both his husband and the kids, were fast asleep on different couches.

He decided to put the kids to bed and wake Jinki to go sleep properly in the bed after a making some tea, in case Jinki wanted some to ease his cold when woken. But when he was pouring some water into the kettle, he heard a loud noise which made a shiver run down his spine and his breathing panicked as he quickly walked out of the kitchen, looking around. The sound came again and Jonghyun flinched, looking to the source, his lips twitching into a smile of repressed laughter.

It was Jinki snoring.

He didn’t snore much; only when he was completely exhausted but it was never this loud. Maybe it was his blocked nose making it so loud. He turned back but this time Jinki snored louder and what followed it was a wail. Jonghyun turned around and found Minho up, looking terrified in the dimmed light. Jinki snored again and Minho jumped out of the couch, his moist and fearful hazy eyes finding Jonghyun. He ran to Jonghyun and wrapped his arms around his legs. Jonghyun put his palm upon his head gently, “Hey, it’s nothing.”

But Jinki snored again and Minho clung to him tighter, letting out a muffled cry before whispering, “Monster
