Jonghyun knew he couldn’t go to the gym with his job schedule tight and with looking after his little toddler Taemin and with Jinki always making such delicious dinners, something had to be done to save those abs he was so proud of. He took out some time during the weekend and bought some equipment which both Jinki and he could use and cleaned up their extra guest room to turn it into the workout room.

Day 1:

It was Taemin’s spring break when he started his first routine at home- some time on the treadmill and then he dropped down for push-ups and that was when his son came running into the room, clutching onto his frog plushie, his awry bed hair bouncing and wearing his signature sleepy, grumpy frown on his face.

“I wan pancakes~.” Taemin whined, rubbing his eyes as he approached Jonghyun, his eyes widening on seeing his appa doing weird things on the floor, “Appa why are you pushing the floor?”

Jonghyun just grunted, “Is Jinki still sleeping?”

Taemin nodded, “Jinnie is still sleeping.” He crouched down in front of Jonghyun watching him intensely, his eyes going up and down with Jonghyun’s movement.

“O-kay, I will be there in five….Go brush your teeth till then.”

“My stool is not there. I can’t reach my brush.” Taemin muttered, playing with the arms of his plushie.

“Okay, okay.” Jonghyun finally gave up, getting up and grabbing Taemin into his arms, making him shriek and then laugh.
