"I said shut up, Jae!' I finally lost my temper.

 

"Hyung... please pull yourself together. Your temper is getting worse." ChangMin looked up from his PSP.

 

"Like you should care. Nobody understands me right now." I turned away from them.

 

"You'll never know how much it hurts to know that you're adopted! You'll never know how it feels to have no biological family with you!" Jae shook me.

 

"You'e right. But you'll never know how much it hurts to send off your son to another family..." I whispered back. My chest started to ache. I clutched it tight but the hurt did not go away. Soon, a burning feeling started to form from the bottom of my chest. "Nobody will understand me now. You may beat me up but will that make the situation better?"

 

"Whatever you say, I still believe that you were wrong. It wasn't right to give YooGeun-ah away." Jae sighed.

 

"How do you suppose could I take care of him? Bring him to Japan and carry him all the way to our shows and concerts? If I do that, do you think that he would be leading a safe and happy life?" I looked at the person beside me. "You don't understand, Jae. I wanted him to stay safe. I can't put my son's life at risk just because I wanted to be with him."

 

"You know, YunHo has a point..." YooChun put his book down. "But you know that this is a very sensitive topic for Jae, right, hyung?"

I sighed as I looked at the sea of fans waiting for us to perform. It was our Purple Line debut in Japan and a lot has been anticipating it. "I can't perform in this state." I looked at the guys who were getting ready with their costumes.

 

"Oh, sure you can! Hyung, I thought you gave YooGeun up for this carreer?" JunSu shoved some cotton away from his shoulder.

 

"I didn't give him up!" I glared at him.

 

"That's beside the point, hyung." He sighed. "Didn't you want to be successful for him?"

 

"Of course I do!"

 

"Then that's what I'm saying. You can't give up now after everything that has happened to you." He then tapped my shoulder. "Showtime." He smiled at me. I heaved one last sigh and painted my showbiz smile on my face. "You should smile more sincerely next time, hyung." He chuckled as the PDs pushed us towards the stage.

 

 

 

The crowd went crazy as we went to our positions. Fangirls were shouting our names over and over again. "Aieru, Jung YunHo!" I heard one fan shout at the top of her lungs.

"But they don't know me." I sighed. The music started and I returned to my fake smile.
