As I walked Naeun up the steps to her house I thought of the things I said during my breakdown. Was I really not happy because she wasn’t happy? Yeah, it hurts like hell when the person you like doesn’t feel the same way as you, but was I really meaning it?

“Thank you… for picking me up and for bringing me home. Also, thanks for allowing me to accompany you to grandma’s tomb.”

I nodded and kept gazing the floor. Just when she was about to go in, I softly held her hand, and looked up to meet her eyes.

“I… sorry for what happened back at the restaurant… and for what happened at the cemetery, it doesn’t usually happen… it was just something weird…. Thank you for that too.”

“Is okay, it happens to everyone. And Myungsoo, just know that you don’t have to keep everything in, if you need someone to talk to, I will be here.”

“Thanks. Then, I’ll see you later.”

I bid good-bye and left.
