It was the early morning of the next day. I woke up only to find eye bags and dark circles because of the lack of sleep. "You don't look so happy." Eunji says while curling the last strand of my hair. I groaned tiredly and let out a yawn.

"Don't even ask. You were deep asleep yesterday." I chuckled and yawned again. Yein was trying her best to use makeup to cover my eyes. I didn't care how good I looked anymore and just wanted to get the apology over with. 

"You're all set." Both girls tell me and I let out a smile barely opening my eyes. "Pretty right?" Eunji asks. 

I nod, "Yeah. Thanks very much guys. I'll be back soon so just do what ever you guys feel like doing. I'll just call you guys up when I need you two. But that's very rare." 

They chuckled. "We know. And have fun Lady Minah."

I stood up from the seat and grab the ends of my dress before heading downstairs. I reached the dining hall like the day before."Hello Lady Minah," The queen calls out. At least I wasn't the last one of the girls. I was the second after Krystal and sat next to her. She didn't greet me as happily as I would like and I figured something was bugging her. 

"Hi Krys." I whispered. She nodded her head, "Hey." 

"How are you doing? I haven't seen you in a while and I have so many things to talk to you about." I really did want to talk to her and let things out that was problematic. I needed someone to relate to but it seemed like she wasn't the one right now. 

"Ah. I'm busy at the moment. But I wanted to ask you something important." She suddenly asks me. 

"Anything." I smiled though I was nervous and terrified. 

"I saw him pick you up yesterday. He carried you all the way up to your room. You guys didn't perhaps?" She paused and I knew right away what she was thinking.

I stared at her hard. What kind of person did she think I was. "Of course not. It's just that.." I couldn't even finish and the Prince enters. Great timing. I groaned and didn't want anyone else to hear about it. Especially not the other girls who were entering at the same time. I could see that she wanted me to tell her everything, strip all the details that happened yesterday and I understood clearly.

"I'll tell you later." I say and couldn't help but steal glances at Prince Sehun. I wanted to apologize so badly but at the same time, I wanted to tell Krystal that nothing was going on.

We finished eating dinner. It was more quiet than yesterday. Krystal was barely making conversations with me and I couldn't focus much on my food. Prince Sehun sat across from me and he didn't look up to meet my eyes but continued to talk with the other ladies. I think he hated me.

"Lady Krystal, would you like to join me today?" He asks Krystal infront of all of us. I glanced at Krystal, my heart continued to beat fast for no particular reason. I didn't want her to say yes, I don't know why. But she didn't blink. She was still too shocked to respond and I nudged her lightly to get her back on track. 

"It'd be a pleasure, you're highness." She couldn't stop smiling. They other girls seemed to worry now. They sat up straighter and had difficulty keeping a smile on. I smiled at Krystal and nodded. She smiled back, like she somehow forget everything earlier.

"And we should really talk." she whispers and stands up to follow Prince Sehun. I turned to look at him and caught him staring at me, secretly. He notices and blinks before turning his attention back to Krystal. He gives her a sweet and charming smile.

He seemed really happy and I didn't want to ruin it. I couldn't do it at the moment. It was Krystal's time with him. I felt like my chance was gone.

I returned back to my room and sat on the bed with books laying around me. I was supposed to study like everyone of the ladies did but my mind wouldn't concentrate. It was already time for my bath but I didn't feel like it. I was still wondering what Krystal and Prince Sehun was doing, not that I didn't want him to pick her but after she saw him pick me up, wouldn't there be lots of misunderstandings. I didn't want to lose my bestfriend. 

Knock. Knock. 

I rushed to get it. Eunji and Yein weren't here yet since I didn't even bother calling them up. But a pair of maids were there holding a box. I stared in awe at the box. It was neatly decorated with a pink bow, my favorite color.

"It's for you Lady Minah." They say and handed me the box before leaving me dumbfounded. 

"That's really it?" I mummbled and walked into my room. "Who was it from anyways?" I asked myself although I didn't know the answer myself. I dragged myself onto my bed and placed the box on my bed beside me. Slowly, I pulled the ends of the bow as it loosened. 

There sat a pair of cute house slippers. The pink fluffy material was shaped into a cute bear and I couldn't help but grin at the adorable beaded eyes. Underneath the slippers was a note. 

-I had a very nice sleep thanks to you. And so, to thank you personally, I hope these slippers would come to your aid. I don't know much about fashion but this one caught my eye. These slippers should be a better fit than the ones that are given to every guest. And I hope your feet is doing better. Did you put it in warm water like you promised? I deeply apologize if this wasn't enough. P.S. The other girl's don't have one so try to avoid wearing these slippers infront of them. -Pri
