Hongbin and Ravi weren’t okay. They both were in a coma. It seemed like the hospital couldn’t help much about their condition.

Leo contacted his uncle again by email, and finally his uncle replied it.

“oh, I do know about this. I have learned this kind of antidote when I had the toxicology course. What’s the matter?” said his uncle on the email

“someone poisoned my friend, and I want to help my friend who is in a coma. The hospital here can’t handle this situation. It seems like the doctors neither can identify the poison itself, nor find the antidote. So, I need your help.” Replied Leo

“okay, I’ll try to help. I will contact you again”

Leo smiled. He hoped that his uncle could find the same antidote.

“hyung” said Ken

“uhm? Oh, Ken-ah, my uncle knows about that antidote. He said he would try to help.” Said Leo

“oh, that’s good. Your uncle must be a smart physician then”

“yes he is. He has many experiences. He worked at Walgreens. But Now, he works at Mayo Clinic in Rochester as a physician.”

“so, he lives in the US?” asked Ken

“yeah. He even studied health sciences there since he was a college student.”

“wow, that’s great.” Said Ken

Leo just smiled.

“but, how about Hongbin-hyung?” asked Ken

“oh, you’re right. What should we do?”

“uhm, don’t worry hyung. Doctor has stitched his wound. I think he’ll be fine.” Said Ken

“oh, okay. By the way, how is N-hyung’s condition?” asked Leo

“he is okay. He is still sleeping.”

Leo nodded.

Then, Ken’s phone rang.

“hyung, wait a minute.” Said Ken, and Leo nodded. Then, Ken left Leo.

‘uhm, that kid is unusual. He usually picks up the phone immediately without going to a quiet place’ thought Leo

Ken went to a quiet place, still in the hospital. He picked up the phone.

“hello...” said Ken

“what? Are you sure?” asked Ken

“okay, good job.” Said Ken on the phone.

5 hours had passed. However, N hadn’t woken up yet. Ken tried to wake him up, but N didn’t respond. Ken began to worry. At that time, Leo came.

“is he still sleeping?” asked Leo

“I’m not sure hyung. He looks unconscious.” Said Ken

“what? Really?” asked Leo. Then, he walked toward N’s bed. He tried to wake him up, but he failed.

“hyung, how it is?” asked Ken

“you’re right. I think he is unconscious. Did the doctor give the sleeping pill, somnifacient, or something?” asked Leo

“I don’t know. I think N-hyung has no sleeping disorder.”

“uhm, then it is because of the effect of anesthesia beforehand?” asked Leo

“I don’t know hyung. Should we call the doctor?”

“okay, just press the emergency button.”

Then, Ken pressed the emergency button. Not long after that, the doctor and nurses came and asked what happened. Leo explained what happened and the doctor explained that he didn’t give sleeping pill or something related to that. It was strange. So, the doctor ran a test to N.

Ken and Leo waited outside. They were worried about N. They wondered what was going on. Then, a nurse came out of that room and he met Leo and N.

“how is his condition?” asked Leo

“we suspect that he overdosed on propofol.” Said a nurse

 “what? How could it happen?” asked Leo

“we don’t know about it. We do not give any propofol to him.”

“what? If you didn’t give any propofol, then how could he overdose on propofol? Uhm, or is it an medical malpractice?” asked Ken

“we’re not sure whether or not he is really overdosed on propofol. However, I guess it’s not a medical malpractice. We need to check it first. So, we will move him into Anethetics room.”

Then, they moved N to the Anethetics/Induction room.

“hyung, what happened?” asked Ken. He was still confused about what happened.

“I don’t know.”

“hyung, did N-hyung really overdose on propofol?”

“I don’t know. Then, it is the same as Michael Jackson? Oh... I don’t know what to say... Let’s just wait and see what happen.” Said Leo

“by the way, where is Hyuk?” asked Ken

“he is still in the ICU. He is accompanying Hongbin. Oh, have you seen Ravi?”

“yeah. Two hours ago, I went to his room. Do you want to see him?”

“yeah, let’s see him.” Said Leo

“okay.”

Then, they went to ICU, beside Hongbin’s room. There was a nurse who was giving an injection to Ravi. She was shocked to see Leo and Ken. She looked very nervous and then she tried to act normal. After giving the injection, she bowed to Leo and Ken. Then, she walked out of the room quickly.

Leo and Ken looked at each other.

“hyung, wasn’t that the nurse who called the police back there?” asked Ken

“yeah, you’re right. She also suspected us as the ones who poisoned Ravi.”

“hyung, isn’t it strange?” asked Ken

“yes. Did she do anything bad to Ravi?” asked Leo as he walked toward Ravi’s bed.

“I’m not sure. But, Ravi looks as the same as before. He looks okay.” Said Ken, looking at Ravi’s face.

“wait. I have a feeling that she is a horrible person.” Said Leo

“really?” asked Ken and Leo nodded.

“by the way, how about Jongwan? What should we do?” asked Leo to Ken

“uhm, no need to worry, hyung.” Said Ken

“what? What do you mean by that?”

“uhm, oh, sorry, I mean, we should focus on their recovery first.” Said Ken and Leo nodded.

“hyung, look at him.” Said Ken, pointing Ravi.

Then, Leo looked at Ravi and he was surprised. Ravi’s face looked paler than before. His body trembled a bit.

“hyung ,what happened?” asked Ken

Leo pressed the emergency button. Then, after the doctor and nurses came, they waited outside.

“Ken-ah.. Did she do that?” asked Leo

“who? What do you mean?”

“the nurse who injected him several minutes ago.” Said Leo

“uhm, yeah. Ravi was pretty fine, but since she injected him, he became worse.”

“yeah, and also for N-hyung case. He overdosed on propofol, right? And the doctor said that he didn’t give any propofol at all. That’s very strange. Ken, I think we should figure it out.”
