It was a day just like any other day for me. It boringly consisted of going to school, sitting through 6 hours of listening to teacher’s monotone voices, working with a job at the café and eventually make my way home where I fall into a sleep that is haunted by the faces of my dead parents.

You could say life is hard, but I would like to think I’m strong, I keep on pushing myself forward day by day even though I want to collapse and cry my heart out. I don't have anyone to turn to and even though I had never voiced it out before, I secretly want to find somebody who can love and take care of me since there is no-one in my life right now to do so. But unfortunately for me my cold, distant and isolated appearance has given the wrong impression on people and driven them away.

The beeping from an alarm goes off, signalling that it’s is time to get up and get ready for school. Slowly, I take my hand out of the comfortable warm cover of my blanket where I instantly feel the cool and shut the alarm clock off. I roll over in bed so I am now on my back and just stare at the ceiling.

“Aishh, why is my life so damn pitiful!?” I ask myself.

With that frustration let out I get out of bed and dress myself in a teenager’s most worn attire, a uniform. It’s only one of those normal check skirt and blouse designs that is always used in Korean dramas. The only difference is the colour is horrible, it’s like my school wants us to be made fun of or something. With my face being cold and my uniform being ugly, the only good appearance I have  is my body, I’m pretty proud of my body actually since it's a popular look recently, I guess it’s from all the walking I do around town an- Oh my god, I’m not that conceited am I?
