The IT HunterI gestured for Tao to back off. "It's alright, he poses no threat."
The tall male shot me a look of doubt before backing off.
"Thank you. Long time no see, 14," Jimin replied with a smile and raised to his feet. I backed off and clutched my dagger. Tao stared at him in alarm.
All the other members of Exo watched in shock as I led a stranger into the living room. Tao was walking behind us, acting extra cautious. Everybody was quiet and the air in the room became more still than ever. Jimin scanned around and remained silent, but a smile hung from his lips.
Suddenly, a voice popped into my head. I flinched in surprise.
"Wink twice if he is dangerous, breathe out loudly if he is safe." It was Luhan, he was using his telepathic abilities to communicate with me. I almost forgot he had that power.
Since I considered Jimin to be no threat, I breathed out loudly. Everyone immediate softened up.
I decided to be the one to break the ice. "Guys, this is Jimin, he helped me and gave me advice," I winced at the awkward introduction before turning to Jimin. "Jimin, these are the twelve members of Exo. They had been taking care of me ever since the IT case."
"So, are they who you ran away from?" Jimin questioned, more enthusiastic than I expected. The twelve members of Exo stared at him questioningly, a bit surprised by his question.
I shifted on the spot. "Everything is okay now. We sorted things out."
The elder Hunter nodded in approval. "Good, so that means you won't be doing something as reckless as going back to the Organization on your own again, right?"
I nodded.
Suho stood up from the sofa and walked to me. "Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but Abi, please tell us more about him."
"Yeah," Kris said.
Xiumin seemed to be concerned. "How do you know him?"
Baekhyun nodded along. "Why is he here?"
D.O frowned. "How did he get in?"
Sehun was an idiot. "Is he your boyfriend?"
I stood there, dumbfounded by all their questions. To be honest, I didn't know the answer to them.
"Alright boys, settle down," Jimin spoke like an instructor. "14 doesn't know that much about me either, so let me explain myself. My name is Jimin, I am also a Hunter. Not to brag, but I was the former number 5. Abi knows it, when we first met, I had her on her knees." He shot me a playful look.
I shook my head. "That did not happen."
"Whatever, I still beat you," Jimin grinned. "Anyways, as I said, I am the former number 5. I am not part of the Organization anymore. In fact, my current situation is very similar to 14's. The Organization had lost me from it's records. I'm probably presumed dead. I had kept an eye out for 14 for a long time now. The day she was sent on the mission to hunt IT, I knew she was going to Turn. I had always planned to meet her and chat with her. So I traced her tracks and found this house. To be honest, I was not expecting her to be living with twelve males. You guys better not have done anything to her."
Kris glared at him. "Wouldn't it be more appropriate for us to ask you that?"
Jimin held up his hands. "Calm down, I've managed to help her along the way. And today, I am here to talk to 14, and to see what kind of environment she is living in right now. But after meeting you guys, I'm sure she is in good hands. Now, if y'all can excuse us, we need to speak."
He took me by by arm and proceeded to lead me away. But another hand grasped my wrist and tugged me back. It was Lay.
"Where do you think you are taking her?" The healer asked.
I turned to him and smiled reassuringly. "It's fine, I'm sure Jimin wouldn't do anything to me. I have a lot of questions to ask him as well. Let me go, I'll be safe."
Lay reluctantly released for grip. "Bring your phone, call us if you need anything."
It was late, the stars twinkled in the pitch black sky. It was chilly outside, only wore a hooded sweater and sweat pants. Jimin and I strolled down the sidewalk. We had a brief conversation regarding my health and living environment. I told Jimin that I was doing great and that the members of Exo were great people.
When we arrived at a local park, Jimin stopped and led me into the empty play ground. I sat on the swings and roc
