"What took you two to follow?" Still annoyed, Yoona almost want to hit Yuri when they finally stopped in front of her.

 

"We just have to do something." Yuri reasoned. "Where is she?"

 

Seohyun just stayed quiet as she stood near Yuri.

 

"She's there, wearing that gray sweatshirt and tied her hair." Yoona said knowing that Yuri haven't seen their target. "Class will end in thirty minutes." She added glancing to Seohyun who smiled briefly towards her when their eyes met. "By the way, where did you go?" But she returned to Yuri who is in between them.

 

"Just somewhere." Yuri mimicked the doe-eyed earning a hit from the latter. "Easy, I'm just making fun. But really, it's none of your business." She smirks at her.

 

Yoona rolled her eyes only. She checks her time again and sigh.

 

"Aren't we going to our classes?" Seohyun suddenly thought she has two classes left.

 

"We can't. She might escape if she learned we already know. But you can go if you want. I and Yuri can handle this." Said Yoona glancing to the younger girl again.

 

"No. I'm staying." Seohyun immediately changed her mind as she mentally scolded herself.

 

"We'll be waiting for the next fifteen minutes." Yuri informs. "We shouldn't be standing outside the classroom or we might provoke her."

 

"Right." Yoona agrees and she looked around for a good place to stay in. "There's a cafe across this. Let's wait there." She immediately announced when she realized it. "Come on." Without waiting for their response, she leads them out and entered the cafe first.

 

Seohyun and Yuri both followed suit and took their seats together with the doe-eyed.

 

"Do you like some coffee?" Yuri suddenly wanted to treat them. "It's fine for you, right Hyun?"

 

"I haven't tried coffee even though it's okay since it's not a meat or blood." Seohyun confessed earning a nod from Yuri.

 

"You could actually try. I've read it won't have side effects." Yoona also shared what she knows.

 

"Really? Can you recommend me one then." Seohyun immediately got interested. If it came from the doe-eyed, she always trusts her.

 

Yoona smiled and casually get up to head to the counter, ordering three black coffee right away. She returned and was puzzled to see Yuri's reaction. "Wae?"

 

"I was about to treat you two. Aish. But it's fine, you have more money." Yuri grinned and bowed to the doe-eyed. "Thank you Sunbaenim."

 

Yoona almost want to hit her if she didn't notice the time. "Keep your eyes focus on our target. Ten minutes left." She hastily instructed.

 

Seohyun and Yuri complied but their attention shifted to their coffee when it arrived.

 

"Omo, it tastes... bitter." Seohyun reacted innocently. It's her first time and she liked it already. "I love it. What do you call this?"

 

"It's back coffee. Just pure coffee beans." Yuri informed. "Yoona really knows what to order." She teasingly smiled to the deer before sipping on her own coffee.

 

"But don't drink too much. I mean, once is enough." Yoona advised, concerned the innocent vampire will refuse to drink what she usually does if she gets addicted to it.

 

"Yes. I prefer vegetable or fruits either way." Seohyun reassuringly smiled brightly as she sips on her coffee again.

 

"Yoona sounds like she's your mom or she's your girlfriend." Yuri couldn't miss the chance and tease how Yoona cares for her ex-girlfriend. She literally got up and immediately took the other seat to avoid being hit who almost did it to her. She stuck her tongue out playfully earning her glares.

 

"Isn't it cool?" Seohyun change the topic right away. "Humans can create a lot of drinks and they won't even get any side effects."

 

"Of course, since it created for them." Yoona replied casually. "But they in return couldn't do the same as you. You're special."

 

"Aigoo, smooth." Yuri cough to gain attention from the deer again. "I just said this coffee is really smooth to my throat. Tsk." She brushed her off which Yoona just ignored.

 

"Yuri's funny." Seohyun giggles.

 

"She always does that if she's bored." Mumbles the doe-eyed girl. She checks her time again and there's just 8 minutes left. She sighs as she gets impatient.

 

"But she's always on point. She's just too slow to get her crush." Seohyun chuckled softly.

 

"Crush? Did she tell you who is this?"

 

"Yup. Earlier. She asks me to help her but she was ignored."

 

Yoona glanced to Yuri and stuck her tongue out towards her earning a poker face from her. "She's not going to get her crush if she's like that."

 

"But I can get you since I'm not like her." Seohyun randomly strikes, stunning the latter and quickly she looked away. She was about to continue when she heard her heart beats, double its pace again. It brought a giddy smile on her face, knowing exactly what does that mean. If Yoona can read her mind, she can also read her heart. "Am I right?"

 

"Eyes on the classroom, Seohyun." Yoona instructed the young vampire rather than answering her. She just couldn't yet.

 

'Aish, you're just stubborn.' Seohyun thought feeling annoyed. She took a sip of her coffee before she turns her attention to their target as well.

 

Yoona sighs audibly and clear as she stole a glance to the younger girl. She smiled unconsciously, admiring her side profile.

 

"Five minutes." Yuri said loudly after the silence between them. "We should leave by now but we don't have to stay close." She suggested which Yoona agrees on and they left the cafe casually.

 

Moments later, Chung Ah walked out her last class, doesn't feel anything and just enjoy listening to some music on her phone but before she can reach her locker, she stopped, realizing someone is following her. She turned and tried to see in the crowd of students if there's any suspicious but she failed to see one. She sighs and turn to continue her walk but couldn't even step one forward when Seohyun appeared in front of her. Her eyes, it's making her uncomfortable. "Wae?" She stepped backward but only to be suddenly stopped when someone throw her arm on her shoulders.

 

"Stay calm we're not hurting you." Whispered Yoona on her ear. "We just want to talk with something, okay?"

 

"Who-who are you?" Chung Ah is frightened. She doesn't know the doe-eyed but she has strong energy.

 

"Just come with us." Yoona replied and without warning, she forces her to walk with her by staying her arm on her shoulders. They walk in the hallway like friends. Seohyun behind couldn't help but feel jealous, watching how close they are but she knows it's just the way to play it safe and normal for students around.

 

It didn't take a while and they arrived at an empty theater, where they confront the older vampire.

 

"What are you doing with her during this time?" Yoona showed the video that was captured by the CCTV through her phone.

 

Chung Ah widened her eyes in surprised. "That wasn't me! I swear I've never done anything. I'm not like those vampire human hunters. I'm a vegetarian!" She defended herself doesn't know why she's in the video. She keeps looking at the video and to the two people in front of her. "But wait, what are you?" She still so confused with the doe-eyed. She knows Seohyun but she doesn't have any idea about her.

 

"I'm a shadow hunter." Yoona casually revealed as she crossed her arms. She was about to continue when the younger one beat her.

 

"How are we going to believe you when you're on this video, clearly?" Seohyun ask suspiciously. She can see how she won't look at them calmly. She's obviously lying.

 

"You can ask my friends; professor where am I during this time." Lee Chung Ah suggested, taking her phone out and handed it.

 

Yoona snatched her phone and browse on her contacts and then check her messages and gallery. None of it shows any of the victim. Her gallery is full of flower photos while her messages has her parents, friends and professors’ messages. Her contacts on the other hand doesn't have any unknown numbers as well as her call history. But she can't still be sure so she checks the time where the vampire appeared and the call history she received. None of it shows the exact time she was on the roof top. The messages from her friends and her interaction with them however has the same time when it happened. They were discussing about their project and it seems convincing.

 

"Wae?" Seohyun noticed the deer got hesitant to continue so she checks her phone as well.

 

"Who are you close with?" Yoona asks the older vampire.

 

"Jessica Jung." Chung Ah revealed causing for the two younger girls to looked at her and then to her phone. "You can see it in my caller history, she called me early in the morning. We don't message each other, just call or sometimes video call. We also eat lunch together. You can ask her about that. She will confirm it."

 

"Wait, I think I should let our friend enter the room." Yoona said and she headed to outside to bring Yuri inside.

 

"What am I going to do?" Yuri confusedly asks.

 

"Is she familiar to you, Yul?" Yoona proceeds.

 

Yuri raises her eyebrows, stepping forward and take a closer look to the older one who felt uncomfortable and looked down to the floor. She moves closer and started walking around her, slowly. She then stopped next to her and pointed to the suspect. "I think she's that person Jessica always talk to during lunch."

 

"The incident happened during that time too. Was she with her?" Seohyun realized something.

 

"Yah, Seohyun. I can't tell. I don't stalk her always. I had my lunch outside the University and they weren't there. How would I know they were together?" Yuri sighs as she felt helpless for the investigation.

 

"We have to ask Jessica Jung then." Yoona didn't think twice and she pressed the call button on Jessica's ID.

 

"Um, Should-should I be the one talking to her?" Yuri wanted to grab the chance and talk with her crush.

 

Seohyun smiled in amusement. "She will hang up." And joke around earning a poker face from the older nephilim.

 

"Jessica-ssi?" Yoona speaks the moment the call connected.

 

[Who is this? You're not Chung Ah, are you?]

 

"Yes. I'm Yoona. Sophomore student. Um, I'm with your friend right now. Can I ask for your presence? I would just like to confirm something. I promise, it's a good thing."

 

[Where?]

 

"Theather. We'll be waiting." Without waiting for her response, Yoona ended the call and handed it to the older vampire. "Let's see if you're telling the truth." She briefly smirks. "But if not, please don't escape. We can still catch you wherever you go." she added, threatening the vampire.

 

"I seriously have no idea she's the suspect. I mean, I thought it's someone else." Yuri chuckled shamelessly.
