08 | Unexpected Visit

 

"You. We're not talking about you!" The girl, wearing her black top and white hot pants reacted to Seohyun's sudden reaction to them. She and her friend stepped back, because the girl's face is furious. As if at any moment, they'll grab their hair and pulled it until they'll run out of it.

 

Seohyun, she stepped two forward -- fuming in anger. "You're not talking about me? Then who is it? I've seen you both in the studio earlier -- and it looks like this isn't the first time you girls are talking about me!" 

 

The one on her skirt scoffed. "How sure you are that we are talking about you?"

 

"Well, who has a son that had a shoot earlier? Whose son was he?" Seohyun talked back, as she stepped forward again - causing for both girls to stepped back two. "Don't tell me he is a son of a e? Like what you guys are talking about earlier?" 

 

The two girls didn't answer -- they're shaking from fear. Their eyes can see fire in the other girl's pair of eyes. They held hands and didn't say any words anymore.

 

"Oh, e, right? Wow. I think I will be the prettiest e if ever. All guys will be asking for me to table them because of how pretty I am.... and Look how handsome is my son - No? Is that a son of a prostitue? Tell me one good reason why I should believe that?" Seohyun knitted her forehead. She crossed her arms and heaved a sigh. There was a part of her that she so wanted to pulled their hairs, but damn, she doesn't like to do such thing when it's so bad for her. "I'm really disappointed. You know why?"

 

"W-Why?" Both girls stuttered to answer.

 

"Because... just because I have a cool and handsome son, you girls are already telling me that I am doing such gross jobs. Why not say, his father is handsome and the mother is so pretty, that's why he looks like that? But hold on, was it because I am a single parent? Do all e single parents? Or even had a child? You. You girls can't judge people that easy. If you want to judge somebody, be a judge first before talking non sense." Seohyun snickered at her her own lame joke. "But in a serious manner, try to put yourself in my shoe - I wouldn't be surprise if you girls will feel so mad - like what I AM feeling RIGHT NOW!"

 

The two girls quickly run away - afraid she will grab on them already. She smiled to see them from afar, but slowly... it faded, as her heart ached - recalling what she heard from them. "Damn, what have I done? Aish! Whatever! They're not worth for your time, Seohyun." Brushing them off, she finally entered a bus that stops right in front of her.

 

Back to the studio, Yoona and Daniel are already making their way to the parking lot with Manager Choi following behind. Unlike the usual schedules, it was only Minho and Yoona, this time a kid is with them. Not to mention, a super adorable kid.

 

But really behave?

 

Yoona couldn't believe this situation. The shoot earlier though ended successfully, the current situation is most likely unbelievable. Where did Seohyun mentioned?

 

"This is nice." Yoona giggled, as she took a quick glance to Daniel, who was walking with her in the side. Yet the kid was busy with a game again on her phone.

 

"What's so nice Yoong?" Ask Minho, as he opened the door in the backseat of the van. "Nice that Danny is with us?"

 

"Kidwolf is Happy!" Daniel suddenly exclaimed, looking up to show his happiness to Manager Choi. He skip through inside the Van, helping himself.

 

"Yeah, It's nice that he is happy." Said Minho to Yoona.

 

"I like that. You should be happy always." Yoona giggles, as she also stepped into the van.

 

"Life is short to be sad, so be happy always." Daniel reminded without staring back to them.

 

Yoona and Minho looked at him in disbelieve.

 

"Wow! Is that a quote from Daniel Seo?" Yoona snickered, earning a hyper nod from the kid himself.

 

"Noona should always remind herself too."

 

"Where did you get that, Huh kiddo?" Minho wasn't impress somehow. Or he doesn't want to believe that Daniel can think like that.

 

"From my Seohyun Omma." Daniel proudly mentioned his mother.

 

"Oh, Not surprising anymore." Yoona giggled. "No wonder you are always happy. Okay, Noona will always remind herself with that."

 

"Yeah, awkward." Minho said, unheard. He closes the door and took the driver seat. It wasn't long ago and he drives them to the next location. 

 

"Noona, will there will be buffet again for our next location?" ask Daniel, stirring away from Yoona's phone.

 

"Of course. Every location Yoona Noona is going has a buffet."

 

"Will there will be ice cream too?" Daniel sounded so excited again.

 

"Are you going to eat a lot again? I thought you are a health freak?"

 

"Health freak?"

 

"Eh? Haha! I mean, you're this kind of a person who likes to eat healthy foods... like your mother." Yoona awkwardly smiled. She doesn't know if it's good or not to share such thoughts for the young boy.

 

"Oh! So I'm a health freak?" However, for Daniel, it sounded cool.

 

Yoona could only smile and nod.

 

"But ice cream are good. I don't think it's bad."

 

"Too much ice cream will be bad." Yoona stated, as far as her concern for the kid.

 

Pouting sadly, Daniel put his gazes back to the screen of the smartphone he is holding. "Doesn't that mean I am not allowed to eat anymore? Coz I ate earlier?" His voice were almost low, but enough for Yoona to hear it.

 

"Maybe tomorrow, you can eat again."

 

"But I want to eat again today."

 

"Do you want to have a toothache later if you eat again?" Yoona giggles teasing the younger boy. 

 

Daniel didn't say anything. Instead, he put the phone down to his small lap and then sulk. His mood just changed after learning he can no longer eat sweets on the next location. Yoona took this chance and stole his phone from the latter. She checked on it and found out that Daniel purchased something on the game. She frowned and smacked her forehead physically. He must have tap the button without its knowledge. "Aish." She hissed, regretting why she gave the phone to the younger. Good thing, it wasn't that bad. He only purchased one item on the app. Turning her head to the latter, she smiled when she was met by his serious gazes.

 

"Noona... "

 

"Hmm? What is it again?" Yoona gritted her teeth.

 

"Is it possible if we'll play hide and seek here?" Daniel suggestively answered. Turning his mood again to bright.

 

Yoona couldn't believe what was going on to the younger again. But she find it cute somehow. "If it is possible, where are you going to hide?" She dared to ask with a smirk.

 

"Hmm... " Daniel pauses, looking around the average size of a van. He can see some stuff toys, pillows and backpacks behind them. "I think I would - yes... I will have a secret place. Will you play with me?" he giggles, as he decided not to share.

 

Yoona somehow loved the idea and eventually wanted to do it with the kid. "Definitely I would. But let's decide who will be the one searching first." a wide grin was plastered in her face. "Let's play rock, paper and scissor."

 

"Bring it on!" Daniel showed his small fist, readying himself.

 

"The first five wins will win."

 

"Let's get it started!!!" Daniel whined, as he quickly throw his first choice -- scissor. Yet, Yoona was also fast and throw a paper. "Yes!" He rejoiced for his first win.

 

For their second battle, Yoona won with her rock and Daniel's scissor. But even before Yoona could rejoice, she lose the third and fourth - until the 5th bottle. Ending her up to be the searcher.

 

"I'll count one to ten, then I'll find you." The doe-eyed eventually covered her face with her palms, as she started to count. "One... two... "

 

Whilst, Daniel quickly take this chance and unbuckle his seat belt. It was a good timing and the van stopped for a traffic. Minho who was driving, smiled to see the two playing inside the van.

 

"Three... "

 

Daniel quickly went over behind, and took all the stuff toys to his seat. Then, he brought that black cloth covering the other stuffs of the young celebrity - to cover the stuff toys he put on his seat.

 

"Seven... eight... " Yoona intentionally slowed her count so she can give the younger a time to hide to wherever he was planning to hide.

 

Daniel quietly giggles, as then, he choose to hide behind Yoona's seat. He took his backpack off and covered himself with it. Shutting his mouth securely, he expected for the older to finally end the count and seach for him.

 

"Ten. I'm going to find you now. Make sure you are in your hiding place." Yoona announces. She carefully uncover her eyes and slowly turned to the side. She has a wide grin crossing her features once she caught a sight of Daniel's seat, covered by the black cloth. And it looks like, he was only sitting there, hiding himself. "Such an easy task." she claimed. Carefully, she slowly stepped out of her seat and reached for Daniel's seat. Sneakily, she pulled the cover "Whoa!" but only to surprised herself with bunch of stuff toys smiling at her.  She nearly curse out loud for being fooled.

 

Looking back to Minho on the driver's seat "Oppa, where's he hiding?" she asked the latter.

 

"Hm? Why are you asking me? The van is big, go search for him around." Minho only stated with a giggle at the end. "The seats behind will surely be his hiding place."

 

Brushing off, Yoona looked around -- indeed -- her van is like a home for her already. With more seats behind for her stuffs, she wondered where on earth the little kid is hiding. Once again, she was convinced to search for the latter. She lowered herself slightly so she could have more sights behind and under the seats. She had pass the back of her without even suspecting. Her focus was to get a sigh on the seats behind. There were bags and more stuff toys was placed. So she took all them off to see if Daniel was just covering himself there. But to no avail, she moved down, but still none. She moved to the very last seats and took time there. Unknown to her, Daniel had quietly stand on his feet and quietly sneak to the passenger seat.

 

"Shshshs... " He made sure to let manager oppa keep his mouth shut while he lowered himself again and hide there.

 

"Yoona! Hurry up! The traffic is about to disappear!" Minho yelled.

 

"Where the hell is he???!!!" Yoona can't help it and complain. Ruffling her hair, she went back to her seat and physically kick the back of Minho's seat. The latter was chuckling.

 

"I think you're just really blind."

 

"Aigoo, whatever. I'll go find you later, Danny!" She decided to stay on her seat first, since the van had started again. "Oh yes, I'm going to play another new game." but she also couldn't hold this chance and intentionally tease the young boy. But not even a sigh, she heard from the latter. Instead, Minho's snickers. For sure, the manager knows it. But she can't force him to say it to her. So She played it the game quietly for the past two minutes... three... until fifteen. The van stopped again, Yoona resumed. By this time, she took the passenger seat. Her face literally lit up to caught the sight of a young lad, covering his head with his backpack ever since then. 

 

"Ehehehe... there you go little Seo." She reached for the bag and pulled it off -  the latter looked up with a wide grin, but totally sweating. He was still hyper though. 

 

"Noona so fail." Daniel got up and claim the passenger seat carefully. "I was only hiding behind your seat." chuckled him to tease the older. He couldn't really stop it. Minho even laugh with him, earning a blush on the doe-eyed's cheeks.

 

Yoona sighed and ruffled Daniel's sweaty hair so hard. "AISH!" she groan frustratingly as she went back to her seat, crossing her arms.

 

Daniel can't still stop it - heck was cut when Yoona throw a towel to his head. He throw the towel back and stuck his tongue out. Yoona throw it back, but only to received it on her face again. Daniel literally was chuckling.

 

"Wait, Daniel, put on your seat belt. We are about to drive again." Minho reminded the young boy. But since the latter isn't paying attention, he leaned forward and buckle the seat belt. Heck, the towel landed on his back, he irritably throw it to Yoona at the back.

 

Daniel and Yoona bursted into a tremendous laugh. Minho couldn't complain, and somehow, just let them play again while he drives carefully. Otherwise, they couldn't reach the location. He wished that this journey will end the fastest way, but damn, they have a kid in the van, he couldn't speed up.

 

 

30 minutes later...

 

 

The car was finally quiet. Yoona was on her seat, napping for about fifteen minutes that passed now, whilst Daniel is playing a boring game using his mother's phone. Minho, the driver/manager was really happy for having a peace place now. However, with Daniel being awake, he can't guarantee. Daniel is disturbing him sometimes when he will suddenly yell in  surprised to him.

 

For a while, Daniel was seen only playing, but as time goes by, he was already taking selcas. Yoona's sleep got distracted by the amount of clicks she is hearing. She opened her eyes only to see Daniel is now having fun with the camera. She has this wide grin across her face when an idea came up to her head. Slowly, she adjusted her seat until she can see herself in the latter's self camera from behind. She waited for a while until Daniel poses, she quickly poses randomly; sting her tongue out, uses her finger to pose as a unicorn, widened her eyes, blowing fish pose, duck face and the least, her infamous alligator smile.

 

Daniel who wasn't aware keeps on clicking and posing to the camera in different cute poses here and there. When he's satisfied, Yoona quickly pulled her towel and covered her face - pretending to be asleep. 

 

"What?" The young boy frowned after finding a photo bomber was behind. He turned behind, but he raised his brows upon seeing the doe-eyed is sleeping. He once again check on the photos he captured, he seriously whined to see almost of his poses were being photo bomb by the choding behind. But somehow, he couldn't delete it - as his poses were all cute, except for weird poses created by the doe-eyed.

 

Looking back again, he sent her a glare before he took one selfie again. Yoona was in time for posing a v to the air.

 

"NOOOONAAAA!!!" a loud scream shook the entire van. Minho almost stopped the van.

 

 

 

 

 

[Yonsei University]

 

 

Seohyun finally realized the time is striking four - momentarily stopped her work for a while and gradually took Daniel's phone out of her pocket. Instead of her phone she is going to call, she decided to call Yoona's number. But to her dismay, when it just rings, the call was cancelled. She raised her brows, wondering why. Yet, she called again. It rings for a few seconds, but was quickly cancelled. She tried for the third time, it didn't even lasted 10 seconds as it got cancelled. "What the hell? I thought I've said I will contact her?" Not giving up, she tried for the fifth time, the call was answered.

 

[Omma, don't call first. Daniel is playing a game.] A snicker was heard from the next line.

 

Seohyun's eyes widened slightly upon hearing her son's voice and it was quickly ended. "Aish! Danny?" hissing, she didn't wasted a single moment and called the manager this time. Minho immediately answered the phone call.

 

"What's happening there, Oppa? Daniel is still holding Yoong's phone? Kindly get it and make Yoona talk on the phone?" 

 

[Oh, Joohyun! I thought you are going to call in Yoona's number why here?]

 

Seohyun sighed. "Did you even get what I've said?"

 

[Hehe, of course. But hold on, everything is alright here. Daniel is just on his seat, holding Yoona's phone. And yes, he's back playing the game again.]

 

"Oppa, that's not good anymore. Kindly get the phone and um... give him some food instead. That'll help him to behave." Seohyun had a stomp of her feet. That's why she didn't installed any game applications to Daniel's phone, she doesn't want to see her son addicted to a game.

 

[Well, believe it or not - he's enjoying a cake and an iced tea while playing a game. It's helping him to behave well. Just don't complain anymore.]

 

Seohyun ruffled her hair, frustratingly.

 

[Hehe, don't worry. This is just for today. The next day, he's no longer playing it.]

 

"Can I hear Yoona's voice please?"

 

[Um, don't get me wrong but -- Omo! Daniel what are you doing??]

 

Seohyun can no loner hear any voice from Minho when it finally ended. But she can definitely imagine what is going on now. She held on Daniel's phone tightly as she mumbled, "Let's see who will regret tonight. You are so sleeping in the floor kidwolf!!!"

 

"Um,Miss excuse me? Can I ask you to get the book on the shelf?"

 

She hastily re her work, but never missed to cursed inside her mind - still thinking of her son's disappointing naughtiness again.

 

 

 

 

[Hotel]

 

 

"I want to swiiiiim!!! NOOOONAAAA!!! PUT ME DOWN!!!" Daniel is whining, shaking his body tremendously. He waa so sad that Yoona was preventing him to get near on the pool. Knowing that the doe-eyed will bring him back to his seat, he bite her shoulders, causing for a great scream of pain from the latter and he was released. He took this as an opening, running back to the 2 feet pool again.
