11 | Punishment

 

 

"She's really nice."

 

"Nice in what sense?" Kris asked with an interesting look. He looks like going to kill the girl for telling it for the 3rd time. He needs more details about this nurse Seo, not just 'nice'.

 

"Nurse Joy, don't be so idiot and telling us the same word." Sehun additionally said. The girl keeps on eating the food they especially ordered for her, that she's not paying so much to them.

 

"Nice as in nice." Joy said between her munch with her pasta.

 

Sehun was about to grab the girl's neck, when Kris held him back. He groaned and warned Joy again. "Do you really know nurse Seo? Or you just want to eat - you just want to have free food. YAH! DON'T WASTE OUR TIME!" 

 

Joy literally leaned away from Sehun's anger - almost want to run away. "I-I... k-know... her a little only."

 

"A little?" Kris exclaimed. Now it's his turn to be pull back by his friend. He seriously ruffle his hair out of frustrations. The girl is really getting on his nerves already. "JUST TELL US!!!"

 

"Um, I thought you guys are some journalist? Shouldn't you be patient? I'm taking my time on how to tell you guys." Joy truthfully replied. "I want to eat first in peace, can you guys do that for me?"

 

Sehun and Kris so wanted to reply 'No'. Yet, they end up ushering the girl to do whatever she likes to do. Joy victoriously finishes her meal, doesn't mind if there are two guys in front of her, watching her.

 

"You make sure tell us your 'little' information about her." Kris mumbles, couldn't wait any longer. But damn, he has to. Otherwise, the girl will walk away. Sehun is the same - but decided to keep his thoughts in, as he also finishes his own beer.

 

A couple of minutes passes, Joy finally can able to have a good talk.

 

"First, in what paper are you guys working?" Joy somehow wanted to make sure, she's going to say stuffs to legit journalists. 

 

"Seoul Sports." Sehun replied instantly. "So tell us? What is Seohyun's life as a nurse and off from work."

 

Joy chuckled. "You guys are really so interested no? Aren't you guys from the fact or dispatch instead?"

 

"What's dispatch? the fact?" Kris innocently asked.

 

"Aren't you from Seoul? Those are popular paparazzi's in this country. They're the source of celebrity's dating life." 

 

Sehun arched his brows. "Chincha? I only know my company." heck, end up lying.

 

"Nah, forget about those paparazzi's. If you guys are from Seoul Sports, then this is for a good article. Why don't you ask Seohyun herself?" Joy suggested, quiet amuse that it's her they're asking.

 

"Just tell us some few details about the girl and we'll get you another set of food." Kris sighed, slowly giving up with the latter though. She's just making the meeting long.

 

"Fine. Um, nurse Seo is nice - like I said--"

 

"QUIT THAT!" Sehun and Kris eventually yelled together, causing for the girl to chuckle.

 

"You guys are so cute. Anyway, She's a good nurse. She's the hospital's beloved nurse because she really takes care of the patient so well. She's a mother after all."

 

"That's it?" Kris is not satisfied.

 

"I'm not yet done. Besides being such a kind hearted nurse to everyone, she's also such a good wife to her wife, Yoona." Joy continued with a smile now, remembering the last time she encountered with the famous actress Im YoonA.

 

"Oh, she's really married. For how many years now?" asked Sehun like a reporter.

 

"I think 2 years and a half?"

 

"So they just got married?" Kris reacted. He's starting to really like this Seohyun more, minus the 'married' part.

 

"Obviously not. 2 years is not consider as newlywed you know." Joy giggled. She find Kris cute with his innocent yet curious face. 

 

"Oh, Okay. So... anything about nurse Seo you like?" Sehun proceeds, changing topic right away.

 

"She likes to cook. She cooks so well. Everyone in the hospital always fall in line every night break because she will bring some food for us."

 

"And?"

 

"She's very intelligent. I mean, if you talk to her, you really want to listen because she got a lot of stuffs inside her brain."

 

Sehun and Kris exchange gazes for a brief moment, before Kris ask the girl again.

 

"Is Yoona her first love?"

 

"That. I have no idea. We are just surprise that the rookie actress is married to her. I have no idea about her private life, ya know."

 

"About the kids. Are they really Yoona's kids?" Kris is having 2nd thoughts about those twins if they're just still 3 years now. It's quiet fast for them to have three babies. What is that?  Some kind of magic?

 

"I have no idea about it. I only know her when she started working in our hospital. I'm sorry. Just ask her or Yoona then." Joy smiled, quiet feeling weird now, the way this cute Kris is asking her. She feels like lying.

 

"Hmm, Okay. So you're not really that close with nurse Seo?"

 

"Yes. I'm sorry if I can't answer it." Joy bowed her head a little.

 

"Oh, it's okay. Um, Did she date anyone before Yoona?"

 

"Like I said, I have no idea about her dating history." Joy truthfully answered.

 

"Do you know her favorite food?" Sehun asked randomly after Kris' had his turn.

 

"That. I know her favorite food. She likes korean food more. You know, barbecue? She likes to grill it for us." Joy smiled so big again. Even though she's younger to nurse Seo, she still can hang out with her. Seohyun is close to everybody though.

 

"Wait, Um... I remember that someone told me her twins are popular too? Are they celebrity as well?" Kris curiously wanted to know more details about the twins more.

 

"Yup. That Daniel is more popular because he appeared with Yoona on a show. They have a reality show 3 years ago."

 

"So you mean, the twins did not appear together?"

 

"And how come they're only 3 years when they have 8 years old twins now?" Sehun additionally questioned Joy. He can no sense Kris is having weird feeling about the twins and their parents.

 

"I'm sorry, I have no idea. Like I've said, I know her only when she married Yoona the actress." Joy once again lied. It wasn't new to her that Seohyun has a twin already before she married Yoona. And it's not new to some avid fan like her, that the father of the twins is Yoona's brother. These journalists are definitely not living in Seoul.

 

"Um, okay. Our bad. Thanks for your information." Sehun said, and signal a waiter to come to their table. The waiter approached them and give them their bill. 

 

Kris is still not satisfied. He got up and excuse himself to a comfort room.

 

"By the way, can I ask about your friend? He looks handsome. Is he some famous actor or singer?" Joy immediately asked Sehun after Kris left their table.

 

"Are you interested with him?" Sehun weirdly looked at Joy. He's amuse at her sparkling eyes.

 

"Quiet. So what does he do?"

 

"He's a Doctor." Sehun simply replied, as he paid for their food.

 

"Wow. Chincha? Where's he from?"

 

"Oh, I almost forgot to ask. Do you have nurse Seo's number?" Sehun grinned, showing his phone to Joy. "I'll give you Kris' number if you're going to give me Nurse Seo's number."

 

Joy rolled her eyes and said, "No. I'm not going to give. Coz It's already invading of privacy. "

 

"It's okay. We'll find out soon. Thanks for your 'little' information. By the way, no more free food." Sehun said for the last time, as he got up and followed to the comfort room.

 

Joy sighed in relief. "They're obviously like a stalker. tsk.tsk. I'm glad I didn't tell them more. But dang, I told them some few traits about Nurse Seo. Oh well, if they're a fan, they will send gifts to her. hehe."

Seohyun is on the way back when she felt her phone vibrating against the pocket of her jeans. Doesn't want to cause any accident, she pulled over the car on the side of the street and fished it out of her pocket. A rising eyebrow can be seen in her face, as she didn't know what cause for her wife to call her.

 

She answered the phone call after 10 seconds of just staring at it, anyway.

 

"Baby?"

 

[OMMAAAAAA!!!!]

 

She flinched, moved away from the device after being greeted by such chaos on the other line. "What's with all the voices out there? Wait, am I in loud speaker?"

 

[Shshsh, let me talk to your Omma kids. Um, Baby... It's hubby.]

 

"Yeah?" She felt strange, hearing some breathless on the background. "Are you guys okay? Why-"

 

[We're stuck in the elevator, baby. Please help us.] came Yoona's husky yet clear voice.

 

"WHAT?" Seohyun gasped. "How come?"

 

[Omma help us!!! It's hard to breath!!!] Daniel cried on the phone.

 

[It's Hooottt!!!] Followed by Paul's whine as well.

 

[OMMAAA HURRY!!!] and Yoo Hyun's wail.

 

[We tried to call the resort, but no one is answering. I think something happening outside, baby wife. Please, tell them to rescue us. We'll be waiting here - But please, hurry up!!!]

 

"Alright, I understand. But before anything else, I want you guys to calm down first. Take a deep breath and relax. Everything's gonna be alright, Okay?" Seohyun instructed, which she can hear a response on the next line. But once again, the kids are shouting. Even her wife. "YAH! Yoona! Calm the kids down. That won't help the kids if you as well is in panic. Aigoo, Hold on there, I'm coming very quick." Seohyun hurriedly ended the call and tossed her phone on the passenger seat and quickly drives off, speeding the car fast that instant. Her heart is racing so fast - as felt a mix of worry and scare about her family's situation. She keeps on praying at the back of her head, that she will able to save them. "Come on. Faster!!!" She concentrated on the road. She is constantly tapping on the steering wheels, as time passes, she's trembling. She feels like soffucating. And the worse, she feels like dying inside because of some negative stuffs now running in her mind. "Please be okay, Yoonie, Danny, Paul, And Yoona... please be okay... " she keeps on chanting it, while impatiently taking the long road on the way back to the resort.

 

20 minutes later, she's just one more road away when suddenly, the car is creating weird sound on its engine. She quickly slowed down and Before she knows it, it stopped. Good thing and in the side of the street.

 

Hoping out of the car, Seohyun checks the hood. She immediately greeted her, which made her stepped back and covered from the smoke. "DAMN IT!" she literally stomped in her feet on the ground, out of frustrations. But before she can actually stay there without doing anything, she went back to her car and took her car keys, phone and locked the car. She then look from right to left, hoping to find a cab right away. 

 

"Sh*t. Where's the cab when I needed one?" She literally couldn't believe what is happening. It's like, someone is playing with her. Out of desperation to go there fast, she suddenly thought of blocking a car. She put her arms wide and brace herself as one car is approaching to where she is standing. Thinking that it will slow down, she was surprised when it didn't It was fast approaching her. "Oh no!" eyes are widening as she hurriedly jumps out of the lane.

 

"IDIOT!" The driver yelled at her.

 

"YOU'RE MORE THAN STUPID!!!" Seohyun angrily shouted, kicking the wheels on her car. She let out a heavy sigh, as she began looking for a cab again. It's just a matter of patience. She knows she can find one.  

 

Suddenly, a car pulled over behind her car, she widened her eyes when she find a man - a familiar young man stepped out from it and approached her. It was the same guy she met on the plane. But the other guy, she has no idea who is he.

 

Damn. From all the people in the world. In Seohyun's mind, as she turned away from the coming guy.

 

"Is there anything wrong?" Asked Kris in concern.

 

It took a while, but out of desperation to go back to the resort right away, Seohyun decided not to ignore the latter. "M-My car. Um, I-I don't know what happened that it suddenly stopped. I'm sorry for bothering you but... Can you do me a favor? I need a ride in going back to the resort."

 

"How about your car?" Sehun checks on the hood and he grimaced at the smell coming from it.

 

"Is he your friend? Can you ask him to look over my car first? I seriously need to reach the resort asap. My family is waiting for me."

 

"Save? Why? What happened?"

 

"Can't I answer it? I really need to go now." Seohyun literally jogs towards Kris and his friend's car and impatiently wait for Kris' approval.

 

"Alright. Sehun, you stay there and fix the car. We'll go back later." Kris immediately open the car for Seohyun and the latter stepped in. He rushed to the driver's seat and immediately drives.

 

"Please, faster. I'm in a hurry."Seohyun commanded, while holding to her seatbelt. "Those idiot staffs of the resort are so going to pay this on me." she muttered under her breath.

 

"What happened though? Why do you look scared?" Kris asked, as he speed faster.

 

"..." Seohyun did nothear Kris as she keeps her focus to the road. She's sweating so much, despite the air-con in the car.

 

'I think her family is in trouble.' Kris thought in her mind, as he decided to just shut his mouth. However, he can't help it and felt happy inside that he meet her again. Fate must be really playing tricks on him.

Seohyun immediately unbuckled her seat belt and stepped out of the car, as soon as they arrived just in front of the resort's lounge. Kris also did, following her that instant. 

 

Chaos - the lounge was full of guests, talking to their families here and there. While every staffs are giving their bests in giving their needs. Seohyun immediately grab an arm of one staff and almost exploded out of anger, if she did not think back and put herself back. She took a deep breath and told him.

 

"My family, Mi-Mister. They're stuck in an elevator. Help me save them. Please~" Seohyun's voice came out husky, as he couldn't contain her fears. She's trembling, literally.

 

"Omo, Chincha? S-Sorry to hear that. In what floor they're stuck, Mom?" The man gasped to find it out.
