She sits on a bamboo chair, with her both legs crossed together. Her arms crossed against her chest, while she taps her feet on the floor. It’s been an hour since her last call to Jongin and he’s late again. Last time, he was late for their wedding gowns and now for cake testing. She wonders  whether he is testing the cake later or her hot temper.

“Miss Jang. Do you need some more time?”, the consultant asks her. She lifts her left arm and looks at the time. She can’t wait another minute. “Just bring me the tester. I will test them myself. I don’t need help from irresponsible immature boy that I regret knowing”, she said and got ready to test the cakes’ sample.

The consultant asks a worker to bring out 2 plates with 5 little squares placed on each of the plate. “Here we have red velvet with mascarpone cream cheese on top and we will sprinkle on it some white pearl”, she starts to explain the cakes one by one.

They both then hear the sound of the bell hung at the door of the store rang. “Sorry I’m late. I really am sorry”, he walks towards Saemi. She lifts her head with some remaining of the lemon cake that she was chewing. He could feel all eyes in the store looking at him.

Ignoring him like he’s not there, she lowers her gaze back to the plate. “I like this. I want this for my cake”, she said, meaning about the lemon taste bursting in . “Sure, do you want to talk about the design?”, the consultant asks.

“Why don’t we go to a private room. I’m not sure I want to discuss about it in an open space like here”, S
