“So, you’re basically asking me to transfer you to the company in Korea?”, Stewart plays with his pen, keep clicking it in and out, while thinking about what Saemi just propose to him.

“Yeah. I knew that this company is a Korean originated company and that’s why I don’t think it’s a problem for me to work there too. I will be working at the same company, just different location, that’s all”, she said, convincing Stewart.

“Uhuh…you do know that the other day, the CEO of this company from Korea came the day that you supposed to be presenting?! Don’t you think you made your name at the top of the list for worst staff ever?!”, Stewart said with a little exaggerating.

“I have my reasons, Stewart. Please, just give me the transferring form and I’ll be working there. My mom is sick and I’m the only child she has. I have to stay in Korea.”, Saemi tries to persuade the 35 years old man.

“You do know the agreement that you signed before,right?”, Stewart puts his elbows on his table and put his chin on his fist. “The one that I signed  for my work?”, Saemi raises her eyebrows. Stewart gives her a naughty smile.

“You do know that I wrote there that you can only transfer to Korea, if you’re……..”, Stewart tries to make it a mystery. Saemi furrows her eyebrows. “Is it something bad?”, she said, hoping the guy would answer.

He puts the agreement on the table, letting the girl reads it back. “As you can see on the page of 53, I wrote there that you can only transfer to Korea……if you’re marrying a Korean”, he said before settling down. “WHAT?!”, Saemi’s eyes widened and made a perfect o.

‘Didn’t you read it when you’re about to sign it?”, Stewart asks making Saemi shake her head. “It’s 80 pages. Who would have read 80 pages when you’re excited to go to work?!. Stewart, you can’t make it like this. You have to change it”, Saemi pushes the agreement to Stewart’s direction.

“I can’t. I’m sorry but these agreement are agreed by the CEO of the Korean Branch. And you know it better than anyone else that this company is theirs. You have to follow them. Same as if Koreans wants to transfer here, they have to marry an Americans”, he said, explaining the real deal.
