Standing there in front of the long-length mirror in the dressing room, she stares at her own reflection in wedding dress. can’t stop mumbling cursing words from the moment she enters the stores till the helper takes out some recommendations of new dresses.

“Look, I need to get married in order to stay here in Korea. My mom…she’s currently not really good in health and she needs me by her side. And from the way I see it, you’re the only choice I have. But, if you don’t want, then….”, she takes her handbag and gets up from her seat.

She takes her first step away when Jongin’s hand catch her wrist. “Sit down. I haven’t say a word yet”, he said, looking at the table in front of him, not minding to look at her face at the moment.

Saemi turns to Jongin and waits for him to talk. “Can you at least sit down?”, Jongin leans on the chair, waiting for the girl to take a seat again.

“I need to get married to, okay? My sister- in-law is giving birth to a baby and my brother is kicking me out of the house. And suddenly you came and asks for marriage. Which is a good idea too”, Jongin gives a smirk, thinking how innocent Saemi is. Is she still the same Saemi he knew or changed? He’s trying to figure that out.

He still remembers how soft and cute but at the same time a little hint of gangsterism in her habit. But still, they were good friends.

As for Saemi, in her mind, she’s battling whether Jongin already forgot what he did to her a few years back or he just shrugging it away.

“So? What is your answer? Still want to continue?”, Jongin stares at Saemi deep in the eye, knowing that the girl can’t say no to him. Nobody ever said no to him. But, this time he was sure, because the Jang Saemi that he knew is soft hearted and willing to sacrifice.

Little did he know, at the back of her mind, the hurtful, wounded girl is still there……..

And she’s back for good.

No more good Jang Saemi…at least for Jongin. He will taste his own medicine and he will get back for what he did to her.

“Fine…”, she said and Jongin was a little taken aback seeing how confident she is. “Okay then, our wedding will be in a month”, Jongin gives her a sly smirk.

“Honey, are you done? Come out when you’re ready”, she hears her father said. She huffs her bangs of hair while still looking at her reflection. “Can’t believe a month will become in two weeks”, she mutters before turning around and slowly push the maroon color curtain away and reveal herself in a sheer mermaid dress.

 It’s quite tight on her abdomen and she admits that it’s somehow suffocates her knowing she’s wearing something that shows her body curves to her bottom. The only place where it’s loosen in at the legs. And it’s ruffles are annoyingly ugly.

“Is he here yet?”, she asks her father with an annoyed face showed. Her father shook his head. “Not yet”, he said. “When will he ever be responsible about this. Is he getting married or not. I can’t believe he’s still immature after all this years”, she said, taking another glass of white wine that is prepared by the worker in the boutique.
