Chanyeol groaned as he clenched his hand on the barely recognizable piece of paper in his palm. He unrumpled it for the nth time and glared down at the words that were seemingly mocking him and spitting on him. He just wished that all his abuse on the paper would somehow translate into some kind of beating to the person who has left it for him sloppily. His hands went to his hair again as he wanted to pull them out because of frustration, anger and longing.

          It has been six days since Kris has bailed on picking him up from his shift and that’s also how long this stupid note has been with him.

          He was really ecstatic that night because he has terribly missed his boyfriend who was being too righteous than being selfish that Chanyeol would’ve preferred. He wouldn’t have minded not passing a few assignments on time and just make little white lies that would just go unnoticed because he had been nothing but a good student. He wouldn’t have minded a few sleepless nights and just take power naps in between his classes and during a dull time at work. He wouldn’t have minded on staying over at Kris’ bedspace because that is where he wants to be, if he were to be asked.

          But Kris is a grumpy old man acting all fatherly on him (Chanyeol doesn’t need two dads, thank you very much) and wanted him to pass all of his subjects with flying colors, rest and be refreshed for the next day and he’ll just be a good boyfriend and wait until they could have time for the two of them.

          That time came, finally, but it was Kris who wasn’t around.

          “Ugh!” Chanyeol plopped down on his bed on his belly and his bed let out a creak in protest.

          “Hyung!” he almost rolled off of his bed out of surprise but he caught himself and was a little pleased that he has somebody to unleash the wrath that has been building inside of him.

          “What do you want, Sehun?” he grumbled as he sat on his bed with crossed legs and an annoyed expression.

          “Have you hear from them?” the younger asked quietly. If this has happened four days ago, Chanyeol would’ve flipped the younger off because he’s being uncharacteristically respectful but he could only feel sympathy for Sehun because they are going through the same thing. Both of them are wallowing on their beds most of the time, clutching their only connection to the people that they love. He spied Sehun’s right fist and he saw there a piece of paper looking as battered as his is.

          When Sehun is being the depressed and emo one, Chanyeol is being the loud and obnoxious type of stupid.

          “Nope,” he replied with a defeated sigh. Sehun just nodded and he dragged himself of Chanyeol’s room to who knows where but he’s probably just going back to his empty room sans his bed. Chanyeol fell on his back and stared on his ceiling as willing that a portal will open above him and bring him to wherever part of the universe Kris is at. He’s barely managing the six days of separation without even a single contact and he will definitely go crazy if this will go on for another day. All he could think about is Kris, Kris and Kris. His hands felt for the paper that he lost in his grip at some point and smoothed it, just like all the previous times.

          You liar, Chanyeol thought. I missed you the second I knew you weren’t showing up and yet you’re still not here with me.

          Yixing is tired and Junmyeon is worried. It had been days since Yixing’s boss, Kris, and one of his workmates, Luhan, had gone missing in action after leaving a note for their boyfriends. It was kind of amusing that Fantasia’s owner knew about it from the people from Sweet Cuddles (though it was just Junmyeon telling Yixing). Yixing has to step up and be the person in charge of Fantasia alongside Donghae just to keep them running. He has just grown to have more respect for Kris after two days of working as the manager. He can’t help but wonder how Kris is doing all those stuff.

          “Xing?” Junmyeon called to his boyfriend who has dozed off to his dreamland with his eyes open. If this holds up, Junmyeon won’t be surprised if the other will catch a cold or something and he didn’t want that.

          “Hmmm?”

          “Are you alright?” Yixing turned at his boyfriend’s anxious tone and he gave him a small smile while beckoning him to come closer so that he could pull him down beside him and wrap his arms around Junmyeon’s shoulders.

          “Yes but just a little tired,” his dimples showed now that he’s smiling a little wider. “Donghae hyungnim has been in a really good mood lately so it’s not so bad.”

          “Maybe because you’re just a good employee,” Junmyeon teased and Yixing smacked him before he blushed a little.

          “It’s different from before. Well, he’s not really a bad person but he’s quiet always when he goes to Fantasia, except when he’s fighting with Kris,” he snickered. “He will just ask each of us a few questions regarding our work and then nod before he leaves. But now, he’s even smiling and I can swear that our customer’s doubled when he started actually showing up in his café. I even told him that he could leave everything to me and Minseok because he might be feeling uncomfortable but he declined and he said that he’s fine and he likes being there, actually.”
