Tao is just a breath away from strangling his groupmate who is seating right beside him. They are in the middle of completing their project and while he is doing his best to complete the task at hand, Oh Sehun is grinning stupidly at his phone while giggling like some girl who has seen her idol oppas strip in front of her. Tao is a patient guy, being a wushu master; he was disciplined to be calm almost all of the time so as his judgment be not clouded of irrationality but the idiot beside him is testing his limit for quite some time already. Isn’t it unfair that while he’s burning his brows over their project, Sehun is just being lovey-dovey with his phone? Tao snapped when Sehun let out a small squeal over something that he found more amusing than schoolwork and his partner.

          “, Tao! What the hell?!” Sehun protested when Tao snatched his phone from his grip and slipped it inside the latter’s back pocket. He almost pouted because he wasn’t able to fully enjoy the last selca that Luhan has sent him before the wushu panda interrupted his fanboying.

          “, Sehun! You’re doing nothing but bury your nose into your phone the whole time! This that you’re ignoring is due tomorrow in case you’ve forgotten!”

          “, you two!” Baekhyun yelled from the doorframe of his bedroom. He fell down his bed when Sehun shouted and he jerked when another voice shouted back, making his head hit his bed frame and the tiny bump on his forehead was proof enough. “Can’t I have a nice nap inside my room? Are you trying to drive me away, too?” he whined. Baekhyun’s extra grumpy mode was a result of Kyungsoo still keeping him out of the kitchen (but he lets that brat Kai go in there without giving him hell) and Chanyeol who had been wearing a very long face that is more creepy that his all-teeth grin. He tried to talk to the giant elf but Chanyeol will just shut him up with a pained smile and a reassurance that he was just fine. Fine.

          “Why oh why. If it’s not the idiot who wears sunglasses even after the sun has set,” Tao huffed and rolled his eyes at the other addition to his and Sehun’s squabbling. He took this opportunity to study the stranger the second time around. His hair was in golden brown disarray, his shoulder blades peeking out of his big white t-shirt that shifted more to his right side, his sweatpants are navy blue and his face, though mostly hidden by his hair, was still fair and smooth-looking. He forced himself to look at Sehun to keep himself from smiling idiotically like what he has disturbed Sehun from doing so.

          “What are you doing here, you stupid panda?” Baekhyun bit back as he felt a little humiliation at the mention of his forgetfulness the other day. He should’ve removed those stupid eyeglasses right after the alighted the bus.

          “This idiot here is my partner for a school project,” Tao pointed at the oblivious Sehun who was pouting and sulking on his seat, muttering something about not enjoying, and their stupid project. “What are you doing here?” he shot at the pissy beauty now leaning by the door of what he assumed as his bedroom.

          “Why should I answer you?”

          “Because I answered your question?” Tao tilted his head. Why was that person being difficult? Why was he interested in the first place?

          “I don’t need to tell you anything,” Baekhyun sassed and turned around back to his room. ”Just keep it down,” he reminded as he disappeared to his room and a loud click from the door lock means that Baekhyun didn’t want anybody disturbing him. Tao’s jaw was hanging open. Did that pretty face just left him hanging like that?

          Tao wasn’t used to not having the last say on things. He always wants to prove his point in an argument; he’s persistent like that. When pretty face has turned his back on him, the shock shook Tao to the core because somebody was able to escape his intimidating presence (with an annoying sass to add). He has learned that intimidation is the best self-defense for anyone but it crumbled into those pretty little hands who he found himself admiring when the pretty boy was covering his yawn a few minutes ago.
