Enjoying the early morning sunlight, Kris decided to wear just a simple black tee over brown skinny pants as he made his way to fetch Chanyeol from his shared apartment. The smile that was plastered on his face for almost a week already didn’t falter one bit even though Donghae has kind of scolded him about the new marketing strategy of Cuddles.

          He pushed down the guilt that he felt when he had relayed to his boss about what Chanyeol has so innocently shared with him during one of the younger’s trip to Kris’ home. Cuddles has hired singers for their customers. His boyfriend (he still chokes internally as he tries to get used to thinking, knowing and accepting that he and Chanyeol are dating) has been all praises to the hired singers who are apparently his bestfriends. This could be a big card for Cuddles and Donghae saw that too. He gave Kris grief for not thinking of something like that first and he was threatened that if he didn’t think of anything to match or surpass their rival café, Kris will be jobless because his boss is a heartless in with a posh condo.

          Chanyeol invited him for the debut performance because he will be playing the guitar for their singers and he ordered requested Kris to pick him up so that they could go together. It’s lucky that today is one of Fantasia’s rest day and he’ll be able to tell for himself if this gimmick of Cuddles could really cost him his job. It’s not like Kris is poor (but he’s not a prince like Luhan), he keeps his job because it’s one way of thanking Donghae for his help and he didn’t want to accept anything that comes from his father because he knows what are at stake.

          Kris groaned as he checked the message he received. Of course, Chanyeol has changed his name in Kris’ contacts, yet again, and the younger has irritatingly invents pet names for his boyfriend that makes Kris cringe. Like ‘Fannie’, ‘Krissy’, ‘My lovely cheeseball’ and ‘Mr. Grumpy y pants’. Kris would’ve been okay with just Kris or Kris hyung or hyung but no. Chanyeol has to go out of his way and think of these stupid names just to rile the elder up because he thinks that Kris looks cute when his eyebrows are mashed together when he’s pissed. He has his own way of seeing things and if Kris will just be honest to himself, this is what he liked about Chanyeol; His spontaneity and crazy perspective. Totally opposite of Kris’ careful planning and logical reasoning and that’s why deep inside him, Kris believes that they are perfect for each other. But he won’t admit that just yet.

          “Boss?” a familiar voice called behind Kris and he instinctively turned his head towards the other person and it turns out to be Luhan who looked a little surprised seeing Kris there. They are in a neighborhood in the opposite direction from younger’s apartment.

          “Luhan,” Kris nodded once and stopped until his pace and Luhan matched.

          “What are you doing here, Kris?” Luhan peeked up at Kris and he swears that his heart has stopped for two beats. Kris knows that Luhan has exceptional looks and he has a big tendency of being seen as cute because he has seen it and that made him adamant for the elder to act y at work and when they are together. But now that Chanyeol has pushed through his wall, Kris could now see things the way he didn’t before. His boyfriend has been rubbing off of him already.

          “What about you, Lu?” he tilted his head to show curiosity in attempt to side track Luhan and it’s easier than he thought it would be. The elder cleared his throat and looked at his feet but Kris still saw his cheeks turn pink. What the ?

          “Kris, do you remember my first love who we talked about?”

          “Uh, yeah?”

          “You have to promise me that you won’t tell anyone, okay?”

          “Sure. Go ahead,” Kris halted and waited and observed as Luhan’s eyes darted everywhere for signs that he will be taken or whatever. His voice dropped to a whisper.

          “We’re back together,” Luhan confessed and Kris swears that the elder looks like a tomato about to explode.

          “How did that happen? How about your father?” Kris expressed his worry. He knows how Luhan is scared of his first love getting hurt because of him and he can’t take Luhan if he’ll suddenly transform into a mopey emo if something goes wrong.

          “We try to keep as discreet as possible,” Luhan replied and he continued walking. Kris followed wearing a worried expression. “And I can’t let my father know anything about this.”

          Kris understand because he’s in a similar situation as Luhan’s. He has just gotten lucky because he’s dating Chanyeol who has a very tight security. Maybe Kris could ask a favor for Luhan, too? Or that
