Sweet what?
Fantasia vs CuddlesKris Wu (or Wu Yifan formally), store manager of Fantasia, premier host café of the town, is lounged on his sofa inside his office that could only be described as sophisticated what with the different hues of black grey and white that decorates the space. He always takes time to read the morning paper just to have something to do because truth be told, he can do the job of the manager of Fantasia even if his eyes are closed.
That’s how he has mastered how Fantasia works.
It might be easily inferred that he’s already at the point where he sees his job as something tiresome but that is far from the truth. Kris loves his job because just like the owner, Lee Donghae, has told him during his interview for the position that he’s cut for the job and after a little less than two years, he has proven that over and over again.
Face that seemed to be chiseled out by the gods from a precious chunk of marble, statuesque body and tongue which would sweet talk any woman into his irresistible charms – All of those belonged to him and he takes pride in that. Kris knows what he’s doing and he won’t let anything to it up.
He looked up at the clock and it says that it’s already eight in the morning and he has one hour to get things working before Fantasia opens. He decides to finish his cup of coffee before he folds the newspaper and stood on his feet, stretching all of his six-foot gloriousness to shine inside his office. He chuckled to himself because he could just imagine the faces of their patrons if they will be privileged enough to see him outside of work.
Kris is at the borderline of narcissism but he doesn’t mind at all. It actually helps that he knows which guns he owns and when to use them to provide the best service that is expected of him and all of his staff. Working in a host café needs patience (for customers who would get to any lengths just to try to get inside their pants) and confidence (to keep said customers enticed enough to come back again and again).
Then it must be easy to get into the host café business, right? Everybody can be patient and confident in their own terms. But that is not the case for Fantasia because above all, they have standards. And it’s very high at that. You have to be the right level of patience and at a certain degree of confidence for you to fit right in.
That’s why he pours all of his attention into selecting his employees. With meticulous and scrutinizing eyes, he reads through their résumé and observe them keenly during the interview. His memory of his latest hiring made a smile spread on his luscious lips. He has just found the last person to complete their café and he’s simply perfect.
“Kris? I need to report to you on my first day, right?” a melodious voice sounded from the other side of the door.
“You could’ve knocked too, Luhan,” he replied with a flat tone but rang with authority. He shook his head slightly. He may have to train Luhan thoroughly because from what he has gathered from the interview, his new perfect hire can be a little stupid at times.
“Oh, right. Sorry,” came the reply and followed by two solid knocks. Kris w
