RING!!!

Hyun Joong phone rang and he quickly picks it up. It’s Kyu Jong.

“Hello, Kyu.”

“Hyun Joong. Where were you? Is So Min with you?”

“I’m still at the faculty, and yes she’s with me.” Hyun Joong glanced at So Min who seat beside him at the bench. Before he pick his phone, he place So Min there.

“We’re waiting for you both at the cafeteria. Palli.”

“Oh, okay. See you there.”He ended the call and looks again at So Min. She’s still trembling and she seems thinking of something.

“So Min..” She didn’t pay attention to him and Hyun Joong touch her shoulder lightly. Only then, she startled and looks surprised at him.

“Hey. Are you okay? Did you want to go home?”

“I’m fine. I just..”

“Actually, our friends are waiting at the cafeteria. If you want, I can tell them that you’re not well. We can..”

“It’s fine, Hyun Joong. I can manage.”

“Are you sure? For me, you’re not fine.” Hyun Joong looks at her and she can’t avoid to looks back at him.

“I.. I don’t know, Hyun Joong. why is Yoo Mi dare to that to me?”

There’s silent between them. Either Hyun Joong or So Min thinks about Yoo Mi’s action towards them, especially to So Min.

“It’s my fault.” Hyun Joong said as he keeps his head down.

“What?”

“I should not accept Mummy’s idea to get engage with you. If I didn’t agree with her, you’re not going to face all this, So Min.” So Min seems shocked to hear he said that. Her heart hurt. She control her tears as she stand from her seat.

“Where you’re going?” Hyun Joong asked and he didn’t realised he hurt her feelings.

“I’m going to see our friends.” She takes her things and walks ahead.

“Yah, So Min. Are you sure?”

“What? Do I look bad?”

“What?”

“I’m fine, Hyun Joong. I’m perfectly fine. Yeah, it’s true. You should not agree with Mummy Kim’s idea in getting engage with me. You should STAY with that Yoo Mi, not ME.” Before she realise, her cheeks is wet with her tears and Hyun Joong becomes speechless to see her like that.

“What do you mean?”

“You still don’t get it? It’s you said that you should not agree with Mummy Kim. Yet, you still proceed that thing. What do you think I am? I do have feelings, Hyun Joong. what do you think I feels when you said all that?” Her cries become worse and she’s pours all her feelings, all her sadness to him.

“So Min. I never realised that you will feels like this.”

“You know what. Let’s forget all this. Let’s call it off before it’s TOO LATE.” She stares at him.

“No.”

“What?”

“No. I’m not going to back from all of this.”

“Can’t you get this, Hyun Joong?”

“I’ m ore than aware of all this, So Min. That’s why, I’m not going back. If I do so, Yoo Mi will think she’s wins over me, and especially over you. Besides..”

“Beside what? I’m tired of all this. I don’t care about her anymore. Let her be what she wants.”

“No. I’m not going to do that. When I said no, it’s mean no. Can you get it?”

“Oh God. What’s wrong with you?”

“I still with my decision and you don’t have to worry. As long as I’m here, I will always protect you from her.”

“Protect me? How long?” So Min can’t believe what she hears and she becomes more confused with his feelings. Her feeling toward him seems confused too.

“I don’t know. But, one thing I can promise, I will always protect you. As long as you always be beside me.” 

“De?”

“I don’t know, So Min. I don’t want anyone else to be with me after Yoo Mi. I accept you not because of Mummy. It’s because..”His phone rings again as interrupt him. He sighs and looks at the caller.

“Yeah, Kyu. We’re on our way.” He ended the calls and his face looks annoyed.

“It’s better for us to go now.” So Min tried not to ask him more when she saw his annoyed face. Hyun Joong just nodded and they walked to the cafeteria.

When they arrive at the cafeteria, all of their friends having a great time and didn’t realised they’re arrived.

“Yah. Did anyone didn’t realised we’re her?” Hyun Joong greets them and only that they notice them both.

“Haha. Mian, Hyun Joong. This Hyung Jun always bring problem to Jung Min.”Kyu explained it to him and Hyun Jun pouts his lips.

“Yah, I’m not.”

“Whatever, Junnie.” Jung Min smirks to Hyung Jun and sips his drinks.

“So Min-ah. Come sit here.” Ha Ni calls So Min over to her and So Min quickly take a seat beside Ha Ni. While Hyun Joong take a seats beside Young Saeng. Their place in seated opposite to each other and most of all the time, they will avoid any eye contacts between them.

“So Min. Are you okay? You look pale. Is it something wrong?” Kyu notice So Min becomes silent and she just smiles and hears all of their conversations.

“Yeah, So Min-ah. Did you unwell?” It’s Hyung Jun turn to ask her. She smiles when he friends concern about her.
