Based on this backhug Jongdae gave to Yixing.

Jongdae always waits up when he knows Yixing is going to come back to Korea. Always. It doesn't matter if he's surviving on 1 hour of sleep or they have a schedule in 3 hours, he'll always wait up. In the beginning, Yixing used to scold him and tell him to relax or sleep because they barely get time off but he's since stopped. Because they both know Yixing won't stay for long, he never does. He'll finish his EXO schedules and fly off to wherever he's shooting his latest films or promotions or interviews. They'll take any time they get together.

Jongdae fights sleep by singing softly to not disturb Minseok or play games on his phone. As soon as he hears the front door, he bolts. There's Yixing, jet lagged and carrying a suitcase, and he just looks absolutely beautiful. Jongdae can finally breathe again. It's probably unhealthy, he thinks, to be able to breathe easier in the presence of your boyfriend but he doesn't care right now. Tears prick in his eyes but he refuses to cry, he'll do that after Yixing leaves.

He rushes forward and helps Yixing out of his shoes then carries the suitcase to the laundry room. Yixing never does laundry when he's abroad and there's always a spare packed suitcase ready for him to take. Jongdae reheats some of the dinner they had and grabs a glass of water and some painkillers before heading to their room. Yixing smiles gratefully at him and finishes the food before taking the pills.

They hardly talk when they're like this. They don't need to. They just know.

Yixing goes to take a shower and Jongdae goes to do the dishes. He chooses to do Yixing's laundry too just to give himself something to do before Yixing comes out of the shower.

Yixing will come out of the shower wrapped in only a towel before Jongdae wraps his arms around him. A shiver will pass through Yixing's body as Jongdae buries his face in his neck and he'll try very hard not to squirm away. Jongdae will press a light kiss to Yixing's spine and let his lips linger there. Yixing will bring one of Jongdae's hands to his lips and press a soft kiss on his knuckles.

"I love you." He'll mumble into Jongdae's hand.

"I love you too." Jongdae will murmur into his back.

They'll awkwardly waddle to their room because Jongdae will refuse to get out of the back hug and fall into bed. Most times, they'll stay awake just staring at each other, a kiss here, a caress there. Some nights they'll embrace each other tightly and catch a few precious hours of sleep before being inevitably woken up by reality. On rare night, they'll take their time and make love.

Yixing captures Jongdae's lips in a languid kiss and Jongdae smiles into it as he into his mouth. He loves their rare nights.

I was determined to update today because I haven't updated in a month. I am just waiting for Christmas holidays to begin because I have soooo many Chenlay stories that have been floating through my head that I've been wanting to share with you guys. So hopefully I will write a lot this holiday but knowing me and my lazy that is also a rare possibility. I will write all the Chenlay stories eventually, I hope. God damn I just realised this is chapter 69, I missed a perfectly good opportunity to write .
