Based on the fact that Lay composed 'Promise', Chen wrote the lyrics for it and Chanyeol wrote the rap but it was lost 4 months ago along with Yixing's other compositions but they managed to compose it again. I may have accidentally made this a Chenlayeol.

A loud crash caught EXO's attention and when several more followed from the room Yixing was in, Jongdae bolted out of his chair and ran as fast as he could. He flung the door open to see that the room was in a total mess; stuffed animals were spewed all over the room, broken bits and pieces were on the floor and Yixing stood in the middle of the room with his keyboard held high as if he wanted to smash it to the ground. Jongdae didn't think twice. He grabbed the keyboard off of Yixing and put it back in its proper place before pushing Yixing on to the bed. He climbed on top of him and pinned him down to make sure he couldn't do further damage.

Jongdae looked into his eyes and saw rage he had never seen before. "What's the matter Yixing?" he asked softly.

The sound of Jongdae's voice seemed to bring Yixing back as the rage in his eyes dissolved and tears began to pool. "I lost it." he said in a broken voice.

Jongdae's mind flashed with all the important things Yixing had that he could possibly loss his temper over. "What did you loss?" he asked with the same softness as before.

"The first song we made together." Jongdae's breath hitched in his throat. "I lost it." Violent sobs were shaking Yixing's being at this point.

Jongdae slowly moved off Yixing and laid down to pull him into a hug. He remembered how hard they had both worked to compose and write the lyrics for the song. Hours upon hours of hard work, missed sleep and spare times used up for nothing. Before he knew it, Jongdae was clinging on to Yixing and crying his heart out too.

"I lost it all." Yixing said in between broken sobs. "All my compositions that I made over the years, it's all gone. I tried everything to get them back."

Jongdae just held onto him and tried to comfort him as best as possible. He tried to compose himself and whisper how everything was going to be fine.

A short knock on the door interrupted them. Joonmyun peeked into the room and observed the mess before his eyes landed on the two bodies on the bed.

"What happened?" he asked calmly.

"Yixing lost all his compositions." Jongdae replied.

Joonmyun nodded in understanding before leaving the room. A few minutes later, he was back with Chanyeol.

Chanyeol pulled Yixing off the bed and wiped his tears. "Hyung, we don't have time to cry, we need to do something productive. Go on your social media sites and ask the fans for help."

"What's the point?" Yixing asked in despair.

Chanyeol narrowed his eyes at him and then turned to Jongdae. "Jongdae your boyfriend has been replaced by an alien not from EXO planet." Then he turned to Joonmyun. "Someone call the doctor because we've lost another member." He began shaking Yixing violently. "I am so ing tired of you being so ing negative all the ing time. We don't have time for this! I remember some of the melodies and I'm sure you do too! If we can't figure it out, we'll bring the rest of the members in to help because everyone has heard at least one of your songs. We need to get to work right away! Go on social media and ask your fans." He turned to Jongdae. "Jongdae call the maknaes and tell them to go on the internet and search about restoring memory." He turned to Joonmyun. "Round up the rest of the members, tell them to bring all mine and hyung's recording equipment to the living room, we're going to need a big space to do this. And you." Chanyeol said as he turned to Yixing. "Are you done with your moping? Are you ready to do some actual work now?"

Yixing sniffed but nodded in determination. "Yes I am."

Chanyeol gave him his signature grin. "Great let's go!"

"Let's start with 'Promise'." Yixing said as he looked at Jongdae and Jongdae smiled back.

Chanyeol looked at the couple. "Good idea. Jongdae you wrote the lyrics down right?"

"Yeah."

"Bring them, we'll work backwards. This has to be a group effort. EXO we are one!" he shouted as he pulled the two out of the room.

"Hey Chanyeol, do you want to do the rap part?" Yixing asked.

"I'd be happy to hyung but let's take things one at a time."

Guys I'm going to go on hiatus for a month or two because my exams are coming up and I really need to concentrate on revising. I'll be gone by the end of this week after updating all my stories but I will be back by June hopefully.
