Based on the long hair Yixing had predebut. 

"Jongdae you're staring." Baekhyun said with a smirk.

Jongdae looked away quickly. "No I'm not!"

Baekhyun threw his head back and laughed obnoxiously. "Sure whatever."

Thankfully, K's rehearsals was starting again so Baekhyun left Jongdae to ogle in peace. Because the truth was, Jongdae was staring and he hadn't stopped staring all break, he's surprised Yixing hadn't noticed. Then again Yixing wasn't the most perceptive person.

"Why were you staring at me?" Yixing asked.

Ok maybe Jongdae was wrong. And when did Yixing get so close to him. Like the man was literally centimetres away from him.

"What?" Jongdae blurted out.

"I asked why you were staring at me Jongdae," a tiny frown formed as he bit his lip. "Do I have something on my face?"

"No hyung, you don't I just..."

How was Jongdae going to tell him that he was staring at his hair without sounding like a total creep. Jongdae never thought long hair on men was very attractive but there was an exception to every rule. Yixing was that exception. His hair, which was normally past his shoulders, was tried up in a ponytail. It was always shiny and it looked so silky, Jongdae wanted to touch it just to see if it was as soft as it looked.

"Can you take your hair out of the ponytail please?"

A confused look glazed Yixing's eyes but he did as he was told. He reached up with one hand and took his hair band off. Jongdae could've sworn it was something right out of the herbal essences adverts, he could practically hear the ladies. Yixing's hair literally swooshed around his face, framing it perfectly, before settling on his shoulders, the light catching it and making it shine even brighter.

"Jesus Christ!"

Yixing tilted his head, parts of his fringe falling to cover his eyes. "Were a few hairs out of place? Is that why you were staring?"

"Umm yeah."

Because he and Yixing weren't that close yet and he didn't know how to ask in a totally non creepy way that he wanted to run his fingers through his hair.

Yixing smiled brightly at him before moving to put his hair up again. "Thanks Jongdae."

"What are you thinking about?" Yixing asked sleepily.

They were currently snuggling together in their shared bed, playing footsies. Jongdae had his arms wrapped around Yixing's shoulder, occasionally playing with his hair, and Yixing had his arms wrapped around Jongdae's middle.

"Just how much I miss your long hair." Jongdae said honestly as he carded through Yixing's soft locks. "I always wanted to touch it."

Yixing yawned. "Mmm maybe I'll grow it out."

So tomorrow, 151101, is going to mark the one year anniversary of this drabble series. I'll probably update again tomorrow but have something for today.
