I haven't updated this in ages and I missed writing short stuff for my babies. Based on MAMA 2014 when Chen pulled Lay on to his lap. 

"Hyung?" Sehun asked suddenly.

Chen hummed in response but didn't look up from the tv screen.

"Do you think you and Yixing hyung are soul mates?"

Jongdae raised an eyebrow at Sehun before looking back at the tv. "Stop speaking nonsense."

"I'm being serious hyung."

Chen turned towards him and saw that Sehun was indeed being serious. He turned off the tv and turned to face him properly.

"Ok, why do you think me and Xing are soul mates?" Because Jongdae was genuinely curious now.

"Well, you two never speak to each other but you know what the other is saying. Am I making sense? I mean you do speak, but only when you're arguing or helping each other with languages." Sehun tried to explain.

Jongdae took all of Sehun's words in and saw that he was right. He and Yixing didn't need to speak to communicate, not really, they just knew what the other wanted by glances or gestures. This was mainly due to the fact that when they had first met, both of them weren't well versed in each other's languages and so they relied heavily on body language. Even now that Yixing could fluently speak Korean and Jongdae's Mandarin had improved, they still used body language as a primary form of communication.

"That doesn't mean we're soul mates, it just means we have good communication skills." reasoned Chen.

"I've never seen another couple act the way to two do."

"All couples are different and most couples aren't with each other 24/7." shaking his head at the maknae's naivety. "If they were, I'm sure they'd be like me and Xing."

Sehun pouted. "I still think you two are soul mates."

Jongdae laughed and turned the tv back on. Just as he was about to start focusing on the screen, he saw Lay pass by the door. As if sensing Chen was looking at him, Lay paused and looked back.

Lay raised his eyebrows. What's up?

Chen shook his head. Nothing much. Then glanced at Sehun. Sehun thinks we're soul mates.

Yixing's eye widened and he smiled. Really?

Jongdae rolled his eyes. Yeah I know, it's ridiculous right?

Lay pouted. I think it's kind of cute. He then blew Jongdae a kiss. I'll see you later baobei.

Jongdae gave him a concerned look. Please don't strain yourself!

Yixing giggled. You worry too much.

Chen gave him an unimpressed look. Because you never listen to me!

Lay made kissy faces at him before leaving the door way. Chen huffed as he watched his boyfriend walk away.

Sehun scoffed surprising Jongdae. "Are you still going to tell me you two aren't soul mates?"

He didn't reply, instead he smiled at the thought of it.
