I'm going to mark this series as complete until I come back. My exams are approaching and I really should be concentrating on them instead of writing fiction. I'll be back late December/early January. Based on ep 9 of EXO 90:2014(46:41)

Right now Jongdae was watching Yixing watch Boa. He knew that look anywhere. It had graced Jongdae’s face many times when he was looking at Yixing pre and post debut. To be frank he didn’t like it. Nor did he like the fact that Yixing was going to dance with Boa. Everyone knew when Lay danced he transformed from angelic unicorn to liquid . So when Lay volunteered, volunteered, to dance with his sunbae with those sinfully skilled hips, and Jongdae has had plenty of experience being up close and personal with those hips, he wasn’t exactly thrilled.

They had just finished filming and the members were filling into the car. Chen was feeling especially clingy after watching the way Yixing acted around Boa so he thought it would be a good idea to sit on his boyfriends lap and cuddle with him. Yixing wasn’t complaining, he just held Chen close.

“Jongdae get off Yixing’s lap and sit on a proper seat!” yelled their manager.

“I don’t want to.” Whined Jongdae.

“We have seatbelts for a reason. In the event of an accident, God forbid, the seatbelt minimises the damage to your body. So sit on a proper seat!”

Before Jongdae could protest Yixing shut him up with a soft kiss. “Please sit on a proper seat. I don’t want you to get hurt in case we get into an accident.”

Jongdae turned into putty and did as he was told. He was just getting comfortable against Yixing when he started to talk about Boa and how awesome she was.

Jongdae huffed. “But what did you think of my remake mv.”

“It was great. I never knew you were such a good actor.” Lay gave him a dimpled smile.

Normally that would’ve been enough but Chen wanted Lay to feel a fraction of the jealously he was feeling. “Thank you but that actress helped me out a lot. I don’t think I would’ve been that great without her. She was very helpful.”

“I’m sure you would’ve been great either way but your chemistry with her really sold it.” Yixing said honestly and without a hint of jealousy.

Chen frowned at him. That wasn’t exactly the response he was expecting. They arrived at the dorm before Chen could try again.

As they were entering the dorm Chen thought he’d try a different approach.

“Xingxing ge, make me some ramen please.” He said as he pulled Lay into the kitchen.

Yixing’s eyebrows shot up. “You hate my cooking.”

“No I don’t.”

Lay gave him a weird look. “Yeah you do. Who are you and what have you done to my Jongdae?”

Jongdae laughed him off. “Please gege buing buing.”

That’s when all the pieces fell into place and Lay realised exactly what was going on. Chen was jealous and that’s why he was being extra clingy, trying to get him jealous and doing agyeo. It’s not often Chen is jealous, it’s normally the other way around so Lay decided to have some fun with him.

“Alright I’ll cook you some ramen but you need to finish it all, you know how much I hate it when people waste food.”

“Yes gege.” Chen said in a cute voice before going to get a bowl and chopsticks.

Lay rolled his eyes and smirked. “You know Noona wants to take me up on my offer to cook her some ramen.”

Jongdae’s eyes narrowed. “Really?” he forced out in a civil tone.

Yixing was trying very hard not to smile. “Yeah, she invited me over to her apartment-”

Before Yixing could finish his sentence Jongdae came up behind him and hugged him.

“Please don’t go.” Jongdae mumbled as he hid his face in between Lay’s shoulder blades.

“What was that?”

“I said don’t go. Baby don’t go. Yeah, take me to a place where you’ll be.” Chen sang.

Lay turned the heat down and turned around. “Shh, I love your voice but the other members are sleeping. Why don’t you want me to go? It would be rude to turn down an invitation from such a big sunbae.”

Chen snapped. “Because I feel uncomfortable when you two are near each other.”

Lay gasped overdramatically. “You don’t trust me.”

Chen didn’t notice that Lay was teasing him and thought that he should placate his angry boyfriend. “No no, I totally trust you. But you didn’t see your face today, it was full of admiration and I just got a bit insecure.”

Lay smiled before giving Chen an Eskimo kiss. “You literally have nothing to be insecure about. I may have fanboyed a bit too much in front of Boa noona and that’s just because I admire her. And just because I admire her doesn’t mean I want to get into her pants.”

“That’s what it meant for me.” Mumbled Jongdae as he thought about how his admiration for Lay eventually lead up to them dating.

Lay laughed. “Jagiya, I love you and I’m not going to leave you.” Yixing leaned down and pecked Jongdae’s lips.

Chen stared at him with big eyes. “Promise?”

“I promise. Now let’s go to bed, we have to get up early tomorrow.”

“What about the ramen?”

“It’s probably burnt by now anyway so you’ve escaped eating my cooking once again.”
