Jongdae smiled when he saw the caller id. "Xingxing!"

"Am I speaking to the legendary guitar man?"

Jongdae gasped. "How did you know? You're not supposed to know."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Yixing whined.

"I wasn't meant to tell anyone. Not even the members know, how do you know?"

"Please, I can recognise my boyfriend's voice anywhere."

Jongdae wasn't too convinced. "I bet you saw the search results. The fans have already figured it out somehow."

"No I didn't. I would know your voice anywhere because we work together, we stay together and we even sleep tog-"

"Ok ok." Jongdae said hastily as red coloured his face. "I get it."

"No seriously, I woke up from my sleep because I thought you were here in China with me. You don't know how happy I was but that quickly turned to disappointment when I couldn't find you. It turns out my secretary was just watching 'Masked Singers'."

Jongdae bit his lip. "You can't tell anyone."

"Ok but why didn't you tell me? You always tell me everything."

"It's meant to be a secret plus I wanted to surprise everyone. I just wanted to prove to everyone that I'm not just 'EXO's Chen' and that no one in EXO has any talent and that we're only popular because we look good."

Yixing pursed his lips. "You don't have to prove anything. But I know you have it in you to be the masked king and if you ever get revealed, all those hater will get the shock of their lives because they'll know that Kim Jongdae does have talent and he's not just getting by with his gorgeous face!"

Jongdae giggled. "You sound more passionate about this than I am."

"Of course I'm passionate, if this is something that's important to you then I'm 100% on board."

Jongdae was genuinely touched by Yixing's resolve. "Thank you, it means a lot. I just hope I can get to the finals."

"I know you will. My entire team is rooting for you even though they don't know who you are. It's taking everything in me not to shout 'That's my man, the legendary guitar man is Kim Jongdae and he's mine'."

Jongdae threw his head back and laughed. "Yeah well you can shout that from the  rooftops once I'm revealed but not before."
