Based on an interview where Yixing said he was supporting Jongdae's musical and Jongdae's practise of 'Sunrise' with the actress playing Nina.

Jongdae popped his head into the living room and saw Sehun laying on Yixing's lap as the elder carded his fingers through his hair. They were watching a movie with Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Minseok as it was one of EXO's rare days off.

"Yixing!" Jongdae said in a stage whisper. The dancer looked up and smiled at him. "Can you help me practise my lines?"

"Of course." Yixing said as he rearranged a disgruntled Sehun in the sofa so that he could get up and follow Jongdae to their room.

"Ok so we've just slept together." A sleazy smile crossed Yixing's face. "Don't." Jongdae said as he hit him with the script. "Benny and Nina just slept together."

Yixing frowned. "I didn't know you were going to be in a bed scene."

Jongdae snorted. "As if you, the company and the fans would allow that-"

Yixing held his head high. "Actually, I wouldn't mind because I know it's just acting."

Jongdae rolled his eyes at him. "You're only saying that because I know you have kiss scenes in your movies."

"We're not talking about me, we're talking about you."

"There's no bed scenes, there's just a morning after. Look just let me move you around."

So Jongdae went about directing Yixing on how the scene was going to play out and what Yixing needed to say and do.

After 2 hours of nonstop hard work, they decided to take a break.

"You're going to be fine." Yixing said as they were cuddling in bed.

Jongdae pouted at him. "It's my first musical, I'm nervous. What if I mess this up?"

"You're not going to mess this up. You're Zhang-I mean, Kim Jongdae-"

"Zhang Jongdae?" Jongdae asked with eyebrows raised.

"Well eventually you will be Zhang Jongdae."

"I'm not changing my name if we get married." Jongdae said stubbornly.

"We'll discuss this more when the time comes. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted." Jongdae stuck his tongue out at Yixing and Yixing gave him one back. "You're going to be fine. I believe in you and even you believe in you. You're going to kill this musical and everybody is going to be raving about it because you've already got so much confidence on stage and a great voice to match and people are going to see that."

Jongdae played with Yixing's fingers. "Yeah but I always have you guys on stage with me and it's going to be different."

Yixing brought him close and planted a kiss on the top of his head. "You've done countless solo stages on your own and in no time you'll get close to this cast so you'll be comfortable with them, when you're comfortable, you're confident. Just imagine us all on stage with you if that helps, we're always in your heart anyway."

Jongdae groaned. "Why are you so cheesy?"

"Because I'm hardly ever around and so you get extra cheese when I am." Yixing grinned at him.

Jongdae lowered his head and whispered. "Will you come and watch me perform?"

Yixing looked away. "I can't promise anything but I will try."

Jongdae nestled closer to him. "Then I won't get my hopes up."

Yixing tightened his hug. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be, I understand. It's balance, I wish I could be there for your schedules but I can't and you wish the same but you can't, it's life."

They lay there together in companionable silence, just appreciating their precious time together as they didn't know when they were going to have these moments next.
