Based on a fanaccount and pictures of Jongdae going on a roadtrip with his friends earlier this year. Have some Chenlay before I go back to uni.

They had just returned to their hotel rooms after celebrating the new year on Hunan tv. As soon as the door the their room was closed Yixing grabbed Jongdae and pulled him into a slow sensual kiss.

"What was that for?" Jongdae asked once they separated.

"Couples usually kiss each other as midnight strikes on new year's day. Since I couldn't exactly grab and kiss you in front of all the people and camera, I thought I'd give you your kiss now."

Jongdae threw his head back and laughed. "Since you gave me my kiss, let me return the favour."

Jongdae pulled Yixing down by his collar and began devouring his mouth. He pulled away with a quick nip to Yixing's bottom lip just as the man was about to cup his bottom. Yixing groaned and Jongdae laughed at his boyfriend's demise.

"I need to pack, I'm leaving for the airport in 4 hours." Jongdae said as he began putting all his things away in his suitcase.

Yixing scowled. "Are you still going on that road trip with your friends?"

"Yes Xing." Jongdae replied in exasperation.

Yixing came up behind him and hugged him. This didn't stop Jongdae from continuing his packing.

Yixing kissed the back of his neck. "I'm going to miss you."

Jongdae turned around, gave him a quick kiss before resuming his packing. "Please don't be like this. I'm going to miss you too, you big baby, but I'm only going to be gone for 2 days. Besides, I haven't seen my friends in ages and I miss them a lot. I'm happy for this small opportunity to go and have some fun with them."

Yixing didn't want to seem like a possessive or clingy boyfriend so he didn't say anything more on the matter. He untangled himself from Jongdae's person and let his boyfriend pack in peace.

Jongdae was getting anxious. He'd been on the road trip with his friends for a day and his boyfriend hadn't so much as texted him. All the other members had bothered him almost nonstop until he complained to Joonmyun about it but there was strict radio silence from Yixing.

"Jongdae stop staring at your phone!" yelled one of his friends.

Jongdae quickly put his phone away. "Sorry."

"Leave Jongdae alone, he's probably missing his boyfriend." another one said.

Jongdae whined  before joining his friends again.

When he finally returned to the dorm, he ignored everyone else and went in search for Yixing. He found his boyfriend composing in their room. He knew it was strictly forbidden to disturb Yixing whilst he is composing but he needed to talk to him. He spun Yixing around in his chair and sat down on his lap.

He rested his forehead on his boyfriend's and looked him in the eye. "You didn't call me for 2 whole days. That's the longest time we have not communicated. Are you mad at me for something?"

"Of course not." Yixing denied quickly. "I just wanted you to have fun with your friends without any disturbance from me because you hardly ever see them. So I decided to give you space and not-"

Jongdae kissed him hard. "Don't ever do that again. I thought you were mad at me, I almost cut the trip short just to come back and check on you. I love you and you could never be a 'disturbance' to me."

Yixing grinned. Jongdae never really said 'I love you', he chose to express it instead with his actions but it was always nice to hear the words. "I love you too. And I'm sorry for making you worry."

"You nearly ruined my trip. Make it up to me!" demanded Jongdae.

Yixing was only too happy to comply.
