“Now where is him?”

“Today is the final.”

“Yes. He said you know. The basketball thing.”

Shinhye massage her forehead as she said that.

Mrs. Jung said as she glances at her granddaughter who was playing with her toys.

“Noona. He had been waiting for you since half an hour ago.”

Shinhye waits patiently when Minhyuk went to ask his team mates.

She then pats his back and rushes to Hyungsik, all the while being careful; she needs to protect her baby as well.

She calls him as she arrived.

Hyungsik raises his head from his phone and saw Shinhye.

He then quickly went to her and hugs her dearly.

“I thought you forget.”

“Noona mianhe. I put you aside.”

Hyungsik shakes his head.

“I should be understanding.”

“No. What can you do?”

She smiles and caresses his hair.

“Do you have anything to tell me noona?”

“Go and win for your team, we can have all day for us after that.”

“Really noona?”

Shinhye nods eagerly.

“I told my husband that I want to spend time with my darling.”

“You promised then noona.”

“Of course. Now go and win the medal to brag it around.”

Shinhye then was engulfed in a hug again before Hyungsik starts warming up before the competition.

“What do you want to see me for President Kim? I thought we had nothing to talk anymore?”

“I know Director Jung. But I’m selfish. I think I can find someone to become my partner and that they will be as good as or better than Jung Corp but I failed.”

“So, your purpose is?”

“I hope we can work together again but I have no ulterior motive this time around. I propose mere business deal.”

Yonghwa sighs as he looks at President Kim.

“How can I actually trust you after the backstab I got from your daughter?”

“That, I don’t know about it at all. I just knew it after you had been freed by Miss Jung.”

“I still.”

“I know it’s hard. I will let you take any action on my daughter due to her deed but please, only you can help me. I’ll undergo lots of deficit if you won’t.”

Yonghwa leans his back on the chair and put on the cold face that he is famous of.

“I don’t think I can help you now President Kim. After what you had said to my mother.”

And Yonghwa is determined when he said that.

There is no excuse.

The partnership not going to happen if he wants to protect his family.

Because President Kim is not a trustable person as well.

“I’m sorry again.”

Yonghwa stood up and bows to him, not waiting for him to answer anything as he makes his way out.
