They walk along the river hand in hand, strolling casually with other people that were enjoying the night.

Shinhye wasn’t saying anything and so do Yonghwa.

They just need to be with each other, no talks needed and they did.

“Do you want to sit down?”

Yonghwa asks after few moments which Shinhye answer with a nod.

They settled down on a bench, sitting closely to each other and both watch the lights from the fountain.

“I promise you a calm night like this will soon come our way.”

He said as he squeezes her shoulder.

Shinhye smiles.

“Gurae. I’ll wait for that.”

“Is what I’m hearing is right?”

“Deh unni.”

“Can’t you pull him back to his track? How can he choose a secretary?”

“I had tried.”

“Tried? I don’t see that you are even trying. He doesn’t even come home last night right?”

Mrs. Jung sighs as she nods.

“He had an apartment. He stayed there.”

“And you let him?”

She doesn’t answer; instead she keeps her silent.

“We should let him choose his life.”

Yoomi answers as soon as she joins the elder on the dining table.

“You should stay out of this.”

“I don’t understand. Why are you so stressed up upon Yong and Miss Park relationship?”

“Soeun is an executive. She will inherit President Kim’s company sooner or later. They will make a suitable pair. Both are from elite class.”

“But Yong doesn’t love her. It’s Miss Park that he loves.”

“No one in our class falls in love to get married.”

“But Yong did plan to marry Miss Park.”

“He’ll get through it. You have to do something or else I'll step up.”

She said to Mrs. Jung and sips her tea.

Yoomi shakes her head.

“Omma.”

“Geumanhe Yoomi ah. Go tend to Sohyun.”

Yoomi wanted to protest but she ended up walks to her daughter room when her mother gestures her to.

“Don’t make the kids make decision that can pull you down. Remember what you had been through. We need security and President Kim can provide it.”

Mrs. Jung nods.

“I’ll talk to him.”

Yonghwa was in Mrs. Jung room, after she tells him that she will be there for the day.

“I had made a decision and I know you are aware I won’t back up even if anything happen.”

Mrs. Jung just listens to him calmly, staring at him all the while he speaks.

Yonghwa did not hesitate even a bit when he said what he wants.

“I’m not going to back out too.”

“I know. But your decision includes me and I’m not going to fill in the space.”

He said in cold tone.

“Yonghwa, I appreciate what she had done to change you but the marriage thing.”

“Are you going to say what aunty said too?”

“She talks to you?”

Yonghwa nods.

“Omma, why do outsiders have to do with our family affair? They weren’t even care about us before this.”

“She is still your aunty.”

“But she is just appa’s cousin. She made thing worse. She changed you.”

Yonghwa said while he frowns.

“I thought you will be happy for me omma, but you are not taking my happiness as your priority.”

“Yong.”

“If I marry Miss Kim, our company can be well known, we can get more acknowledge but how about my happiness? Do you want to see me sad all through my life? And Miss Kim; can she handle it?”

“It’s not what I mean. You can learn to like her.”

“I can’t omma. You know that I take 26 years before I finally fall in love.”

Mrs. Jung sighs.

She also doesn’t know for whom she is debating right now.

She doesn’t know why she is being this stubborn too.

“You know that I have to please the family.”

“But she is not family.”

“She is. Even though she is just your appa’s cousin.”

“Omma, she never likes you.”

“Ara. That’s why I don’t want her to hate me more.”

“Omma, they are not here when we need them. We don't need them.”

“But maybe we do need them. Maybe in future.”

“You teach me to be independent omma. Both me and noona.”

“Ara.”                    

“Don’t tell me you want to make me marry Miss Kim so that they will be pleased.”

Mrs. Jung sighs.

“Omma, I am happy when I’m with Miss Park. Can’t you just let me be happy?”

Mrs. Jung looks at her son.

He really looks happy these few months.

Even though he was fighting for his relationship, she never saw the cold and straight face Yonghwa.

Shinhye really had made him change for the better.

She ever promises that she will cherish the person who changes Yonghwa.

She did.

But she fails to do that.

She was trying to get accepted in her husband family.

After these years, she finally found a way.

And that is by complying with her husband’s cousin’s decision.

But right now, seeing how miserable her son looks, she knows she made a mistake.

She should just let him find his happiness and if it was with Miss Park, she had no reason to reject them.

She shuts her eyes before she opens it and look at Yonghwa.

“Yong, mianhe. I made a mistake.”

Yonghwa stares on Mrs. Jung and arched his eyebrows.

“What is it?”

“Your aunt is here, she went to see Miss Park.”

With that, Yonghwa quickly rushes out of the room and sprinted to his office.

Mrs.Jung let out a heavy breath.

“You don’t know me but I know you.”

Shinhye had the puzzled look on her face but still she entertains the sophisticated looking lady.

“If I can ask, who are you?”

“I’m Jung Yonghwa’s aunt.”

“I see.”

“You are his secretary right? Miss Park Shinhye.”

Shinhye nods.

“How can I help you?”

“Good. I was wishing that you will straightly ask and you did.”

She sits up straight and looks at Shinhye with the snob looks on her face.

“Uri Yonghwa, we had chosen someone that suits him which is from our elite family class; so what I am going to say is we won’t approve your relationship.”

Taking a deep breath, Shinhye sits up straight too and smiles.

“I heard that from President too. It’s not a surprise that I heard the same thing again.”

“And?”

“I’m not going to say different thing. I’m not going to back up from this relationship. As you can see, I am stubborn lady.”

“But you aren’t going to fight with me young lady.”

“I am. Since I had started to give my all, I’m going to go all out.”

“Young lady, you should think about your family.”

“And why did you drag my family in?”

“Marriage is not just about you and him. Families are included too.”

“I acknowledge that.”

“And I am family.”

Shinhye nods at that.

“I’m just going to make it clear for you. You can love him; you can even please him the way you want to. I won't say no if you slept with him as well but no marriage for you and Yonghwa. I’m against it.”

“And who are you to say that?”

Yonghwa’s aunt turns her gaze to Yonghwa whose eyes were burning in furious.

 “Kenchana?”

He asks in worried and Shinhye just nods with a smile.

“Why are you here? And who are you to meddle in my affair?”

“How dare you ask that? I’m your aunt.”

“You should just stay as that.”

“Yonghwa.”

“Don’t make me turns rude aunty.”

“I was helping since your mother fail to teach you properly.”

She said with the smug smirk on her face.

Yonghwa grits his teeth.

“You had crossed the limit. Go now. You don’t want to see me burst aren’t you?”

Yonghwa’s aunt took her handbag and walks away after she glares at Shinhye.

Yonghwa clutch his hand as he closes his eyes to stay as calm as possible.

Shinhye wasn’t saying anything instead she holds his hand and gives it a squeeze.

“Did she say anything hurtful?”

She shakes her head.

“Are you okay?”

“She had always turns down my mother. I know she must have said something that can make you sad.”

“I can manage.”

She smiles.

“I’m sorry.”

“Don’t. I told you I won’t make you feel sorry.”

Yonghwa then hugs Shinhye and kisses her head.
