“You are home?”

“Yes Hyungsik ah. But I’ll go again shortly.”

Hyungsik sits close to Shinhye and holds her hand.

“Kenchana noona?”

“Of course I’m fine. Waeyo chagi?”

“I heard from Hyuk.”

“It’s nothing. He had taken care of the things.”

“Are you sure you are fine noona? Because you don’t look like you are.”

Listening to that, Shinhye slowly starts to tear up.

Hyungsik brought Shinhye closer to him and let her rested her head on his shoulder.

He gives her the reassuring hug as if saying that he will always stand by her.

As for Shinhye, she had been enduring all the things that happening to her and Yonghwa’s relationship; but somehow after meeting his aunt earlier makes her feel so down.

Especially after she kind of insults her by staying together with Yonghwa in his apartment.

She was clearly looking down at her.

Shinhye knows that, but she wasn’t able to spill it out to anyone.

Not even Hyungsik.

“Hyungsik ah, can you please keep it from omma and appa that I cried?”

Hyungsik sighs and wipes her tears.

He nods.

“If it’s tiring, I will be here for you noona.”

She nods and plasters a smile on her face.

“Let’s go out, hyung must be looking for you too.”

Shinhye chuckles.

“Deh. Come on.”

As they walk out, Shinhye saw Yonghwa was having a serious conversation with her father.

She went to them and sat down with his mother.

“I’ve been thinking about it too but we can do nothing if your family won’t approve.”

“But that is the best thing to do right now and I hope you will give me your consent.”

“I never go up against my children’s decision if it is good Yonghwa. I just want her to be happy. If you can promise her the happiness she deserves, I’ll give my consent.”

“What is happening here?”

“I’m going to marry you.”

“Babe.”

“It’s time. We shouldn’t delay it anymore.”

“But.”

“Please, trust me.”

Shinhye sighs.

“Okay.”

Yonghwa nods and excuse himself from them to make a phone call.

Shinhye looks at her father.

“Do you think it will be okay appa?”

“Are you happy with him chagiya?”

Shinhye nods.

“Then it will be okay. He is sincere.”

“But yeobo, his mother.”

“He will take care of it. And the marriage won’t just happen really soon.”

Yonghwa went back to them after few moments and sat down at his earlier spot.

Her parents and Hyungsik left the couple to have their own time.

“I’ve called noona to inform about it and she will help us. I’ll inform omma tomorrow. You should stay here for tonight.”

“Are you going home? To your mother?”

Yonghwa nods.

“I need to settle this thing. When my father’s cousin had touched you, I can’t hold it on anymore. They need to know that I’m a man that will stay on my word. She made me lost the tiny bit of patience that I have.”

“Will it be okay? President.”

“Omma will choose me over them. Have faith.”

With that, she nods.

Yoomi hugs her brother and pats his back.

“Kenchana?”

Yonghwa nods and smiles.

“Miss Park?”

“She is in her house. I send her home.”

Yoomi nods.

“Is omma in?”

“Yes. She is in her room.”

“I’m going to tell her tomorrow.”

“Do you want me to be there too?”

Yonghwa nods.

“Thank you for standing by me noona.”

“Of course I will. I am more than happy if you are happy. You are my only sibling.”

Yonghwa smiles and gives Yoomi another hug.

“Thank you for keeping up with my personalities.”

Yoomi chuckles as she slaps her back playfully.

“You should get some sleep Yong.”

“Wonder if I can.”

“Don’t think too much about it.”

“I’ll try. Good night noona.”

“Good night Yong.”

Yoomi then watch as Yonghwa climbs the stairs to his room before she too walks to her room.

Mrs. Jung is calm.

She doesn’t show any expression; surprise or angry.

She is camly looking down on her table.

“I had asked for her hand and her parents leave it up to her. So, I’m just here to let you know that I won’t back out from this plan. I’m going to marry her and I hope you will treat my wife right.”

“Gurae. Marry her.”

Both Yoomi and Yonghwa look at Mrs. Jung in surprised.

“I’ve learnt my lesson. We live happily in our own little family before this. Never had been anyone of us suffer from the lack; not me, not Yoomi and not Yong. I am blinded by the need to be accepted in your father’s family which is not a necessary thing to do. I’m sorry my kids.”

Mrs. Jung sighs.

“I heard that your aunty met Miss Park and insults her. I’m so embarrassed of myself that I let her go and downgrading my staff, your girlfriend. I need to apologize to Miss Park as well.”

“Are you sure it is okay omma?”

It’s Yoomi who ask since Yonghwa still trying to accept his mother’s words one by one.

“But you said that she is not the one.”

Mrs. Jung smiles.

She stands and pats his shoulder before she went out of the dining room.

“By the way, where is Sohyun?”

“She is with Jaejoong ssi.”

“And when are you planning to sign the certificate again?”

“Soon. Maybe soon after yours.”
