The piercing sound of Shinhye’s alarm startled her who was just sleeping for an hour or two.

She opens her eyes furiously as she looks at her handphone.

“Why the hell did I put it beside my ear?”

She slides her phone to off the alarm and lazily walks out of her bed.

She yawns and stretches.

She looks at her reflection on the mirror and shakes her head.

“I was wearing this dress since in Seoul. Unbelievable.”

She removes her dress and quickly walks to take a long bath.

Shinhye finishes after 30 minutes, get dress and get ready for the day.

She took a glance at her room and her eyes almost pop out when she sees the mess.

“I really need to learn to be a clean person.”

She shakes her head and slids on her heels before she left her room and waited in front of Yonghwa’s room which is opposites of hers.

She looks at the time and smiles proudly.

She is not late.

She waited for almost 10 minutes before Yonghwa walks out of his room and greeted her with his cold stare as usual.

Without even a good morning, he walks to the elevator, ignoring his secretary.

Shinhye glared at his back before she walks to his side, matching her tiny steps with his big strides.

“I see that you had recovered from your fever Director.”

“Yes.”

He answers shortly and steps inside the elevator which Shinhye follow suits.

Yonghwa took out something from his pocket and gives it to Shinhye.

“What is it?”

Shinhye asks when she took the envelope from Yonghwa.

He did not answer and keep mum.

Shinhye almost rolls her eyes at his attitude but she calms herself down.

She then tossed the envelope inside her handbag.

“Since you did not answer me, it’s not important I guess.”

She said when Yonghwa looks at her.

Yonghwa cleared his throat and walks to the café when the elevator finally reached the ground floor.

The atmosphere between the two is undeniable awkward until the second day conference ended that day.

Shinhye was silent when they walk to their respective room that day.

Yonghwa let out a loud sigh when they finally reach their doors.

“Is there something wrong?”

Shinhye furrowed.

“Deh?”

“You are silent all this time. Why?”

“There is nothing for me to say.”

Shinhye answers expressionless.

“Okay then.”

He turns around and slides his card before he disappears into his room.

Shinhye has that blank expression on her face for sometimes before her phone rings.

“Great timing.”

She said and answers her phone.

“Seunghyun ssi.”

She said in a sweet tone as she walks into her room.

Yonghwa, who was leaning on his door, closes his eyes when he remembers how restless he is when Shinhye wasn’t talking today.

He then walks to his bed; lie down on it without washing up, for the first time in his life thinking why he was so affected by his secretary.

“You shouldn’t have come here Seunghyun ssi.”

“It’s okay. I was delivering some products to my customers and I thought that we can have dinner together.”

Shinhye smiles as she devours her meals.

“Anyway thank you for coming. I really need to talk to someone tonight.”

“Is it tough?”

“Kinda.”

Shinhye said while she played with her food.

“Hmmm. Do you want to take a walk Shinhye ssi?”

“Sure.”

Shinhye put down her fork and Seunghyun quickly calls the waiter for the bills.

Seunghyun droves them to Ilsan Lake Park which is a 10 minutes drives from the restaurant they dine in.

“There is this kind of place here?”

Shinhye asks when they walks along the beautiful lake.

“I used to come here before.”

“Chinca? With yeojachingu?”

Shinhye laughs.

Seunghyun just smiles.

“We should go and watch the music performance.”

He said after he glances to his watch.

“There is a music performance too?”

He just nods.

“Let’s go then.”

Shinhye said and walks beside him.

They reach the fountain with the spectacular lights.

The musical lasts for half an hour before they took a break.

“Seunghyun ssi, I think I have to go now.”

Shinhye said in reluctant.

“Is the musical kinda bored?”

“Ani. But we have another important day for tomorrow and I have to prepare.”

“I see. Okay.”

“We’ll come here again next time.”

“We better come here on daylight. We can do many kinds of activities then.”

“Okay Seunghyun ssi.”

Seunghyun smiles.

“Let’s go back to your hotel now.”

Shinhye smiles on her way up to her room.

She feels happy each time she spends time with Seunghyun.

She shoves her hands inside her wool jacket.

It’s not yet winter but the breeze is kinda cold.

“Ahh I forgot to bring my handphone.”

She said when she walks out of the elevator.

And Shinhye’s face turn pale when in front of her room, stood Yonghwa with unreadable expression.

She swallows an imaginary lump in and walks quickly to him.

“Director.”

She called in a low voice.

“What are you.”

“Where did you go?”

Yonghwa cuts her with a warning tone.

“I was out for dinner. With a friend.”

She said with head hang low, feeling guilty.

“Why didn’t you bring your phone with you?”

Shinhye doesn’t answer.

She bites her lower lips.

“You really have the habit to make people worry right?”

“Deh?”

“I’ve been calling you since 30 minutes ago.”

Shinhye blinks her eyes.

“Why?”

Yonghwa lost of words.

Why did he call Shinhye in the first place?

Their boss and secretary relationship ended at 6.

Why did he call her again?

Yonghwa clench his fist.

“I’m sorry director. I should tell you. Or I should bring my phone along. It was my mistake. We are here for work.”

Shinhye answers with full of regret.

She remembers how excited she was when Seunghyun ask her out earlier.

She remembers she tossed her phone and grabs her jacket and purse before she walks out of the room.

“Uh oh.”

She bites her lower lips once again.

Yonghwa narrowed his eyes to her when he senses her uneasiness.

“Why?”

“I left the key inside.”

She said almost a whisper but being the sharp Yonghwa, he can get what she was talking about.

“There, how can I be assured that you did not make any mistakes out?”

He shakes his head.

“Follow me.”

Shinhye nods and follows him into his room.

Yonghwa walks straight to the phone and asks for the staff’s help before they went out again and waited for the staff.

The staff came and opens the door for Shinhye.

He bows and left them.

Yonghwa waited for Shinhye to say something but she doesn’t.

She just bowed to him and mutters sorry before she disappears into her room.

Yonghwa sighs.

“She hasn’t read the note I guess.”

He said, finally remembers what makes him call her plenty of time earlier.

Tossing his coat aside on the couch, he sat and slumps his shoulder.

Why is she going out for dinner makes him remember the guy that he saw in the steak house?

Yonghwa runs his fingers through his hair.

“This is not a good sign. Keep your thought straight Yonghwa.”

Shinhye on the other hand kicked off her wedges once she closes the door.

She pouts.

“Why would he wait for me?”

She removes her jacket and put it on the couch and went to check her phone.

Her eyes widen when she saw how many times Yonghwa had been calling her earlier.

“I’m so dead. I didn’t even get the answer on why he waited there.”

She walks to her handbag and took out the envelope that Yonghwa gave her that morning and reads it.

Her face lits with a smile but turns to a frown in a second.

“I should read it earlier; I missed the chance to eat dinner with him.”

Shinhye sighs.

“Will he pick up if I call him?”

She said as she took her phone and fiddle with it.

She then calmly calls him and waited.

So, will he pick up?

Sorry I was having a fever…
