Yonghwa glances to his side and smiles when he saw the sleeping Shinhye.

He signaled the stewardess for a blanket and he slowly put it on her.

His smiles did not fade quickly this time.

And weirdly, he loves his little change.

It makes him enjoying his life more.

He feels more alive.

“Should I really smile more?”

He thought while his mind flew to when Shinhye and him was in the waiting lounge.

“Director, can I cross my line?”

Yonghwa glance at her while he furrows his eyebrows.

Shinhye smiles as she turns to look at him.

“Director, why won’t you smile?”

“Is it necessary for me to answer you?”

She nods.

Yonghwa just shrugs his shoulder.

“I just don’t want to.”

“No reason?”

He chooses to not answering her.

“But smiling a bit while sealing a deal won’t hurt right?”

She smiles her prettiest smile while she stares deep into Yonghwa’s eyes.

Yonghwa fakes a cough before he shifts his view from her.

“But I don’t see the need in it.”

Shinhye glares at him before she crosses her arms.

“Doesn’t he know that he looks handsome when he smiles?”

Shinhye whispers more to herself but Yonghwa heard her.

He smiles, which is not seen by Shinhye and stands when the call for their flight was announced.

“Can we meet?”

“Is there something important Jaejoong ssi?”

“Yes.”

“Okay. Where?”

“Usual place.”

Jaejoong heave a sigh as he stares on his phone.

“You can do it Jaejoong ah.”

Yoomi arrived early that day.

She sat down waiting patiently for her ex husband.

Somehow her heart is at ease that day.

The fact that Jaejoong call to meet her is very unusual and his tone, it’s soothing.

She feels the butterfly she felt when they are still together.

She smiles unconsciously when she remember their happy days.

It was wonderful.

Jaejoong smiles a bit when he saw Yoomi raise her hand to him.

He sits and looks at her.

“Have you order anything?”

“Not yet. I was waiting for you.”

“Let’s eat first.”

Jaejoong signaled the waiter and they ordered their food.

“So, what is it that you want to talk about?”

Yoomi asks after their meal.

Jaejoong put down his fork and wipes his mouth.

He drinks some water and clears his throat.

“I will be away for a month or more.”

Yoomi’s face fall.

“I got excited for no reason. Women’s heart.”

She thought sighing.

“And?”

“I hope you can wait.”

“Wait? Do you want me to wait for your return to proceed with Soohyun’s case?”

Jaejoong shakes his head slightly.

“So, what is it?”

“Wait for my return.”

“What do you mean?”

“I.”

He hesitates for a while but then, he looks into Yoomi eyes before he holds her hand on the table and gives it a light squeeze.

“I still love you Yoomi. And I will return for you, for Soohyun.”

He said smiling.

Yoomi was stunned for a second but then slowly her lips curled into a delight smile.

Jaejoong smiles as he sits in front of Haejin.

He sits comfortably let out a breath.

“I had thought about it.”

“I hope you will give me a good answer Mr. Kim.”

Jaejoong nods.

“Deh. I’m ready for it.”

Haejin smiles.

“I’ll make sure you don’t regret it Mr. Kim.”

“I don’t know what is the need to have the meeting here in this kind of place.

Yonghwa complaint as they walk in a VIP room in the karaoke room.

Shinhye follows him closely as she scans the surrounding.

“Don’t say or answer anything without my consent.”

He said to Shinhye which she just nods for an answer.

Yonghwa sighs as he glances on his wrist.

“I hope they are not a bunch of ert men.”

He thought while he took a glance on Shinhye who was wearing a decent office wear.

“Glad she wore a pant.”

He thought in relief.

A group of men, middle age and some old men enter the room.

Yonghwa and Shinhye bows to them before Yonghwa shakes their hand.

“We are sorry that we are late. The meeting runs late.”

“It’s okay. We just arrived too.”

“We should talk over drinks Mr. Jung?”

“Sure.”

Yonghwa answers with a slight smile which makes Shinhye rolls her eyes.

The discussion went on smoothly with Yonghwa's clear and pact info about the materials.

He just took two shots of the liquor before he declines another, and to his relief, they did not budge him either.

Shinhye sits comfortably beside him, taking few necessary notes and smiles when the buyers look at her.

They ended the discussion after about two hours.

They bid farewell before promise to meet again in their office in the next meeting.

Yonghwa shakes their hand while Shinhye just bows.

They walk out with Yonghwa face turn sour.

“If only this deal is not important, I won’t even spare a smile to them.”

He mumbles in irritates.

Shinhye chuckles.

“What is so funny?”

“Nothing director.”

“Hmm.”

He clears his throat and waited in front of the elevator when a group of men walk to them.

The elevator opens after a while and Yonghwa gestures Shinhye to walk in first.

The elevator then filled with people, mostly drunk makes Shinhye moves close behind Yonghwa.

Sensing the uneasiness in his secretary, he turns around and caged Shinhye with his arms, protecting her from the male passengers while his eyes avoiding hers.

He was then pushed closer and closer to her until his lips were just a mere distance from her forehead.

Shinhye’s heart beat like crazy as the manly scent of yonghwa penetrates into her sense of smell.

Yonghwa tried to guard his lips but eventually after another push from the passengers, his lips meets her forehead; making both of them froze for a fine few seconds.
