Yonghwa took the file from Yoomi and checks in half heartedly.

Yoomi nods.

“You and president are trying to murder me right?”

Yonghwa closes the file and put it on his table.

Yoomi said and walks out with a smirk.

Yonghwa raise the cup to his lips and sips his coffee.

“This is lots better than the annoying secretaries.”

Shinhye shakes her head.

“They did not even ask me to do anything and they accepted me.”

“You got the job noona? Seriously?”

Hyungsik read the papers.

Hyungsik puts the papers in front of Shinhye.

You are the one who promise her. Not me. I said I can take care of her fully. But you insist to do it. Now what? You neglect your daughter for something else.”

“It’s not something else Yoomi ssi. I have an important work to do.”

“You should at least call me. You are making her stressed out. She is just a little kid.”

“I’m sorry.”

“I think I will appeal to take care of her by myself.”

“Yoomi ssi.”

“It’s the best. This is not the first time. What if you do it again? I still can’t get over the day you forget to fetch her from school. Luckily the teacher calls me. You know how she is crying when i came? Her eyes were swollen and she is shivering. She was scared.”

“I didn’t ask Shinhye to go out with him. I just ask her to talk to him when he come to our house.”

Haejin curls his fist.

“In the tteokbokki restaurant. I saw them when I pass by it earlier.”

“10 minutes ago? Around 10 to 15 minutes ago.”

Haejin removes his coat and wears his suit before he grabs his things and put it in his briefcase.

“Yah yah. Who gonna eat all this?”

“Give it to the interns.”

“Deh. Apart from ice cream, I love tteokbokki a lot.”

Seunghyun smiles while nodding.

“What do you like?”

Shinhye asks while she chews her rice cake.

“I don’t know. I just like anything that caught my attention.”

Shinhye widens her eyes.

“It’s nothing. Eat up.”

“You should eat too Seunghyun ssi.”

Seunghyun eats with a smile while Shinhye eats awkwardly; looking everywhere but not him.

Shinhye exclaimed happily when she saw Haejin approaching.

At least, she won’t feel awkward.

“Haejin, why are you here?”

“I want to buy something to eat and I found you guys. You close your shop early.”

Shinhye grabs Haejin arms and makes him sits beside her.

“Of course. We can go home together. I didn’t bring my car.”

“Did you fetch her Seunghyun?”

“Yes. Since I asked her out.”

“Send me to work tomorrow neh. I’ll start working.”

Haejin smiles and gives Shinhye a hug.

Seunghyun just watch them awkwardly.

He smiles and glances to his watch.

“I think I have to go now. It’s getting late and you have to prepare for work too. So, let’s meet again another time?”

“That would be great Seunghyun ssi. Drive carefully.”

Seunghyun smiles and leaves the restaurant.

Shinhye let out a sigh of relief.

“Why are you sighing.”

“It was awkward oppa. I’m glad you came.”

“Wae? Why the sudden awkwardness? You guys get along well at Hyungsik’s party.”

“He suddenly says something.”

“What is it?”

“Nothing oppa. Let’s go home.”

Shinhye drinks some water and grabs Haejin’s hand before they walks to Haejin’s car.

“What did Seunghyun say?”

“Nothing special oppa. Let’s go home. You must be tired.”

Haejin looks at her long before he starts the ignition and droves away while he thought.

Shinhye stands nervously beside Mrs. Jung and Yoomi who was sitting on the couch.

She looks down at her outfit.

She is dying to wear green today but Yonghwa hates the color, so, she ended up wearing blue; his favorite color as is written in the papers.

“You dress up quite well. You really got the taste.”

Yoomi compliments her and smiles.

“Kamsahamnida.”

Shinhye answers shortly with a bow.

“He’ll be here in 5 minutes I guess. You should just sit Miss Park.”

Mrs. Jung said smiling.

“I’m fine.”

Shinhye answers with a smile.

Shinhye can’t sit down right now.

She just can’t.

How if he comes in and doesn’t like the way she sits?

She can't screw her first day in work.

And then the door to Mrs. Jung was opened from outside, revealing a well built, handsome but cold looking young man.
