Yonghwa tried to guard his lips but eventually after another push from the passengers, his lips meets her forehead; making both of them froze for a fine few seconds.

Yonghwa’s heart beats like crazy.

Shinhye swallows as she closes her eyes due to the contact.

She feels her legs turn wobbly.

Soon, the elevator reached the ground floor with a ding.

The people from earlier start to empty the elevator once it reached the level, leaving the two souls who were still trying to find themselves back.

“Director.”

Shinhye manage to speak, even it sounds more like a whisper.

Yonghwa steps backward before he clears his throat.

“I’m sorry.”

He said before he storms out of the elevator while Shinhye follows him in silence.

No one spoken in the car; and no one spoke on the way to their rooms.

One thing for sure, both hearts were fluttering at the moment.

But the thing is, things got awkward.

The bubbly Shinhye is awkward.

The fussy prince is awkward.

“Goodnight.”

Shinhye said when Yonghwa slides his card on his door.

He turns to her and nods a bit before he walks in.

Shinhye bites her lower lips as she leans her back on the door.

“How can I face him tomorrow?”

She palms her blushing cheeks while pouting.

“Ottoke.”

Yonghwa on the other hand breathe out and shakes his head.

“What have I done?”

He sat down and keeps tapping his feet on the floor.

“But that was unintentional. I’m not at fault. And I apologize too. I should just make like that did not happen.”

He then nods few times.

“Right. I just pretend like nothing happen. It’s just my lips touched her forehead. That’s all.”

But Yonghwa can’t help but smile when he remembers the scene.

He keeps remembering how Shinhye feels at ease when he protects her.

He saw how her face softens when he turns to her.

Even he is awkward at that time, but he feels the need to protect his secretary.

Yonghwa removes his necktie and went to have a shower.

He smiles a lot today, thanks to Shinhye.

Shinhye waited in front of her room after Yonghwa calls her to have breakfast together.

She just put on her casual above the knee pink sundress and a pair of hot pink wedges.

She is stunning as always, no doubt on that.

Yonghwa walks out wearing a cream colored long sleeves shirt with a pair of brown executive pant.

He looks shock at Shinhye’s appearance and was about to asks her but he softens when he was greeted with her bright smile.

“Good morning director.”

He nods and answers her with a good morning too.

“Let’s go.”

He said with a cold tone and walks ahead of her.

Shinhye let out a relief sigh and follows him.

She was worried if he will be colder after last night but it seems he just act like his usual self.

“We both know it’s a mistake Shinhye. Act normally.”

She whispers to herself.

They sit opposite of each other and both are eating pancakes for today’s breakfast.

“Do you have anywhere you want to visit?”

Yonghwa asks after a moment of silent.

Shinhye’s face lit up brightly at Yonghwa’s question.

“Will you bring me to the place I want Director?”

“Since we don’t have anything to do today.”

He answers with straight face while shoving a piece of pancake in his mouth.

Shinhye smiles.

“But I don’t really know the place around here.”

“You did not make any research about the popular place?”

“Nope. Since we are here for work.”

She answers calmly while she eats.

Yonghwa nods.

Shinhye is good.

She is totally good.

His mother is right when she chooses her.

They come here for work, hence she only thinks about work.

He smiles a bit but stops quickly when he realized he was smiling in front of her.

“We could ask the staffs here.”

Shinhye looks at Yonghwa with an unbelievable expression.

“We really are going sightseeing?”

He nods.

“After breakfast.”

He answers and shoves the last piece of pancake into his mouth.

Shinhye grins widely as she too finishes her breakfast.

Both of them are sitting in a car, Shinhye had the excited expression while Yonghwa shows indifferent expression.

Shinhye is happy; as if they are going on a date.

Just thinking about that makes her heart flutters.

She forgets her first crush that she finds his nose is cute; she forgets about the kind Seunghyun as well.

All she thinks about is Yonghwa and the fact that they are going out together.

Just Yonghwa and her.

"The market around here is good if you want to go shopping."

The taxi driver tells them, crashing Shinhye’s daydream.

“Really? What it sells?”

She asks him when Yonghwa just nods.

“All kind of things. Clothes, shoes, even souvenirs.”

“Can we?”

She asks Yonghwa with a low tone.

“We’ll get off here then.”

He said and pulls out few bills from his wallet.

“You can find taxi easier here. You don’t have to be worry.”

“Thank you.”

Shinhye thanks him and went out of the taxi.

She was about to cross the road when Yonghwa pulls her wrist.

“Can’t you see the car is approaching?”

He scolds her while furrowing his eyebrows.

He is not annoyed this time, he is worried.

Jung Yonghwa is worried of his annoying beautiful secretary.

“Stay close to me. I’m afraid I’ll have to complaint for a lost kid when we are in the market.”

Yonghwa said when he looks at the huge street market.

Shinhye smiles while tucking some strands of hair behind her ear.

She bites her lower lips and look at his grip on her wrist happily.

Yonghwa did not let go until they are on the other side of the road.

When they arrived, he turns to her and with his cold expression, he reminded her once again.

“Stay close to me.”

And he left her wrist.

“Deh director.”

Shinhye answers while she holds herself from showing a salute signal like she always did to her overly caring brothers.

Yonghwa then place both of his hand on his back and walk.

Shinhye walks close to him as he asks her too but her enthusiastic eyes keeps glittering while she sees the outfits and beautiful souvenirs.

“You want to take a look?”

“It’s okay director.”

She answers while waving her hands.

“Let’s go in.”

Yonghwa walks to the shop while Shinhye celebrating inside.

“I promise I won’t be long.”

Can Shinhye resist shopping? No she can’t.

Shinhye walks to the cheongsam display and starts to choose one for her.

She chooses a bright red cheongsam which makes Yonghwa cringe when he saw her choice.

She then put it back and goes for different color.

She glances at Yonghwa and see his face soften.

“Will this do director?”

“Deh? Deh.”

Shinhye smiles and gives it to the shopkeeper.

“You can try it miss. That’s the room.”

“It’s okay. We are in a hurry.”

She said while smiling at the shopkeeper.

“Your husband can wait. Go and try it on.”

Both of them nearly choke when she said that.

Shinhye can’t say anything as the shopkeeper pushes her in the dressing room.

She walks out few minutes after dressed in the cheongsam that fits the perfect curve on her body.

*This is the cheongsam*

“You are so pretty miss. Right sir?”

Yonghwa nods awkwardly at the shopkeeper question.

“You two are beautiful. You will get pretty kids.”

Shinhye laughs awkwardly and prepare to deny her.

“We are not.”

“Go and change. We have to go.”

Yonghwa cuts her before she finished.

Shinhye nods and change back to her dress.

She paid for her cheongsam and blushes when the shopkeeper wishes them a wonderful honeymoon.

“You will waste your time saying we are here as an employer and employee. She won’t believe us.”

Yonghwa said when they had walk a bit far from the shop.

His hands are tucked in his pocket now.

Shinhye walks closely to him; she tilts her head while pouting.

“Why?”

“Will a boss went out to this kind of place with his worker alone?”

“Ahhhh.”

Shinhye chuckles.

“You must want to buy souvenirs right? That shop would be good.”

“Deh.”

“Aren’t you tired?”

“I am but it’s more to exciting. I never thought that I can go out and have fun in China. I think I will just spend this day in hotel room.”

Yonghwa smiles a bit as he leans his back on the chair.

Shinhye enjoys her snack while she watches the fireworks.

They had spent all day walking and visit places in Beijing.

Shinhye is not the one who is enjoying herself.

Yonghwa is enjoying his business trip for the first time too.

Shinhye makes him smile, makes him loose his stiffness a bit and makes him try to enjoy life by copying her.

“It’s beautiful.”

He hears Shinhye whispers as she let agape, watching the fireworks which shows different kind of shapes; love, stars and galaxy.

He lets her eyes lingers on his secretary’s face.

He studied her features and stops when he feels his heart thumping faster.

He swallows when Shinhye her lips before she turns to him.

Yonghwa quickly shifts his gaze to the sky and shakes his head.

“I must be crazy.”

He whispers to himself.

I was planning to go on a temporary hiatus but can’t help to write… TT
