“Let’s meet your family tonight.”

“Deh?”

“Wae? Do you have any appointment?”

Shinhye nods which makes Yonghwa frowns.

“But I can cancel it. You come first right?”

“Chinca?”

She nods again before she pinches his cheek.

“Kyeowo. I love seeing this side of you.”

“What side?”

He asks while grinning.

“Cute side.”

She laughs.

“I thought my romantic side.”

Shinhye laughs while she holds her stomach.

“I’m laughing too much today.”

“Laughs and smiles a lot neh Miss Park. I don’t like it when I see your face last night.”

“I don’t like to think about sad things too. I’ll take it lightly.”

“But please don’t take me lightly neh.”

“I won’t. I even cancel my appointment for you right?”

She smiles and kisses his cheek.

“I have to go to the finance department. See you at night?”

“Ani. I’ll be in the office. Come in before you go home. I’ll go home a bit late today.”

“Arasseo. Bye bye.”

Yonghwa smiles waves when she skips to the door.

“Kyeopta.”

He mutters and rubs his nape.

“Wae omma? Are we meeting someone?”

Mrs. Jung nods.

“Why here?”

“Just follow me silently Yoomi ah.”

Yoomi pouts but still follow Mrs. Jung to a room.

Mrs. Jung turns to her when they are at the door.

“Promise me something.”

She said as she stares on her daughter.

She nods when she saw the seriousness on Mrs. Jung face.

“Don’t speak anything and listen carefully to what he says.”

“Omma, who are we seeing?”

Mrs. Jung nods.

“Jaejoong. Come in and listen to his explanation.”

Yoomi sighs.

“Arasseo.”

They went in and were greted by Jaejoong who had been waiting for them.

“Have you waited long?”

“No eomonim. I just arrived too.”

He smiles and glances at Yoomi who was keeping her cold expression.

“Have a sit, eomonim, Yoomi ssi.”

They seated across him before Jaejoong sits.

“Can we order now?”

He asks breaking the silence.

“Sure.”

They place their order and become silence again.

Jaejoong took a deep breath before he cough to gain their attention.

“I have a very important thing to confess. IT’s time for Yoomi ssi and as well as eomonim to know why I file for the divorce.”

Both ladies keep their eyes on Jaejoong.

Yoomi clasps her hands together under the table, waiting nervously for him to continue.

“I was diagnosed with a heart failure.”

Yoomi and Mrs. Jung looks at him in shocked.

“Heart failure?”

He nods simply.

“I’m going to give up on everything when I know my lifespan is reducing. My health is detereoting day by day.”

“You should tell me; tell us.”

Yoomi said softly.

Concern is all over her face.

“I don’t want you, the woman that I love break down when you know about it.”

“I love you Jaejoong ssi. We should go through this together.”

Mrs. Jung squeezes Yoomi’s hand before she looks at Jaejoong.

“Is that why you took a space from us?”

Jaejoong nods again.

“I want to keep it as a secret but I’m fully recovered now. Thanks to Miss Park’s brother.”

“You mean?”

“Yes. He is the surgeon who helps me. That’s why I’m close to Miss Park. She knows about me got hospitalized and the surgery. I beg her to keep it from everyone. Even Yonghwa.”

Yoomi shuts her eyes.

“Oh my.”

She whispers.

“She is a nice lady and has a kind heart. I feel sorry that you said all those thing about her.”

“I’m sorry.”

Yoomi said after a moment.

“I mistreat her.”

“I did the same too. That is very unprofessional of me.”

Mrs. Jung said and let out a sigh.

“But how are you doing now? Your heart?”

“I’m fully recover now. I thought of marrying Yoomi ssi again but these things happen even before I manage to asks her hand in a marriage. I know you will found out about my surgery if you accept me again. So, I had planned to tell you, eomonim and Yonghwa as well.”

“Have you told Yong?”

Jaejoong shakes his head.

“I’ll tell him soon.”

“Make sure you do.”

Mrs. Jung grabs her handbag.

“I bet you guys had more to talk about. I’ll leave first. Take your time and solve things neh.”

Mrs. Jung pats Yoomi’s hand before she smiles at Jaejoong.

Silence engulfed them once again.

Yoomi fiddles with her fingers, feeling guilty while Jaejoong stares onto space.

“Do you still love me Yoomi ssi?”

He asks after quite a while.

“Deh?”

“I tried to do all sort of things to make you and Soohyun hates me and forget about my existence.”

“Do you think you can be forgotten easily Jaejoong ssi? I never hate you, not even when you want the divorce. I thought maybe I’m the one who is lacking.”

“No. You are a good wife and mother. Soohyun never show her discomfort around me even after I dump her everytime.”

“You are her father. I can’t deny your right. I file for her custody because I’m angry.”

Yoomi sighs.

“Is it that bad? Your sickness?”

Jaejoong nods.

“I have to go to the hospital very often before my doctor introduces me to Surgeon Park. I can’t be too excited, I can’t be tired and I can’t stress out.”

“And you go through all that alone?”

Yoomi frowns.

“Why am I so clueless. I should have known when you always look so pale. I act like a pessimist too.”

Jaejoong reaches for her hand and holds it.

“I’m the one who are at fault. I should tell you earlier.”

“I had apologize to her. She understand it. ASnd she asks me to tell you the truth so that you won’t get really hurt.”

“She said that?”

Jaejoong nods and smiles.

“Yonghwa falls in love with the right person.”

Yoomi said finally smiling.

“Yong is in love?”

“Yes. He told us last night and I thought that he is just saying it to shield his secretary.”

“The Yong we know won’t shield his secretary. Not when it’s include personal thing.”

“Yes. And I failed to think that last night.”

“Just say sorry. Everything will be fine.”

Yoomi nods and hold Jaejoong hand which is holding hers with a smile.

“Thank you for coming back.”

Jaejoong smiles tenderly at her before he become serious again.

“Please marry me again Jung Yoomi.”

“Are you sure you are coming today?”

Yonghwa nods and sign the last paper that Shinhye gave to him before he smiles at her.

“Leave your car here. I’ll fetch you to work tomorrow.”

“But director, other staff can see.”

“I’m going to show you to the world Miss Park. Who cares if they saw us?”

He smiles sweetly before he tidy up his table.

“Go on and clean up your messy workplace. I need to freshen up a bit before we leave.”

Shinhye grins before she walks to her desk.

“It is messy.”

She said before she organizes the files, memo and her stationary.

She went to turn off the heater and switch to her black pump before she waits patiently for Yonghwa.

Yonghwa came out after few minutes with a fresher look.

He grins to her who was staring at him.

“Now, shall we go girlfriend?”

“Of course.”

She took her handbag and joins him.

Haejin massages Yoonyoung back carefully.

He runs his fingers smoothly on her waist to Yoonyoung comfort.

“Are you feeling better?”

Yoonyoung nods.

“Thank you oppa.”

Haejin nods and pulls her shirt down.

“Are you sure you are fine?”

“The baby is fine.”

“I’m asking about you, not the baby.”

“I’m fine too.”

She said and leans on the head board.

“I’ll order some fruits okay.”

She shakes her head.

“I don’t think I can eat anything.”

“That shows that you are not fine. Why are you so stubborn?”

“I just don’t want to burden you.”

“Who else are you going to ask for help if it wasn’t me?”

Yoonyoung stay silent.

Haejin sighs and took his phone.

“Can you provide a lady doctor for room 8760? My wife is pregnant and she feels a bit unwell. Oh okay thank you.”

Haejin put his phone down and looks at Yoonyoung.

“I need to know if you are fit to board a plane.”

Yoonyoung nods.

The doctor arrives after few minutes and does a brief checkup on Yoonyoung.

She left after a while with a smile, saying that she is just having a slight cramp and it will subside after a few hours rest.

Haejin thanks the doctor and heaves a relief sigh.

“I do have feeling for you I guess.”

He thought and walks back to Yoonyoung who had fallen asleep.

He leans to her and gives her a slight peck on her forehead.

“Don’t fall sick.”
