The line beeps before he can say anything.

He flips his calendar to check on his schedule for the day.

Mrs. Jung was going through the application that she got from her secretary.

“Shortlists some of them Yoomi ah.”

“Omma, I’m really getting sick of this. For how long do we have to hold an interview every week? I’m busy with my department too omma.”

Mrs. Jung leans her body on the chair.

She smiles at Hyungsik and pats her brother’s hair.

Hyungsik rolls his eyes.

“It is.”

Shinhye laughs at his brother expression and grabs his arm.

Yonghwa walks to his mother’s room with his usual cold expression.

His pace is steady even though a lot of thoughts going on in his mind.

He walks in after his mom is informed about his arrival.

He saw his noona sitting on one of the couch, crossing her legs while reviewing few profiles.

He did not even smile at her.

“Sit down Jung Yonghwa.”

He nods and sits opposites of Yoomi while waited for his mom.

“Why do you think I’m asking you to meet me today?”

“I don’t have any idea President.”

Yoomi glares at her brother upon listening to his formal tone.

“Do you think we are in a meeting for you to call me formally?”

Mrs. Jung sits after shaking her head.

“How are things going on? You have no secretary for the moment. Do you like it without secretary?”

“I need one. That’s my right as a director.”

“So, why did you keep firing your secretary?”

 “They do not have the qualification as a secretary.”

Yoomi smirks.

“As expected.”

She said slowly.

Yonghwa glances at her before he looks at Mrs. Jung.

“Do you want to be the jury for the interview?”

“Deh? How can I?”

“So, you don’t want?”

He shakes his head with the still cold expression.

“So, I had come up to a decision.”

Yoomi looks at her mother excitedly while Yonghwa clenches his fists.

“This is your final secretary. If you ever fire your secretary this time around, I have to kick you out of the company too.”

“Omma.”

Yonghwa said a bit loud.

“So, now I’m your omma? I’m serious and it’s final”

“You can’t do that omma. What if she did a mistake?”

“People tend to do mistakes Yong and you did it too.”

“I never do any mistakes.”

“You never?”

Yoomi laughs.

Mrs. Jung keeps her eyes on Yonghwa.

Yonghwa clears his throat.

“I did, but just once.”

“Did I send you out of the company then? Did I ask you to compensate the loss?”

“No.”

“So, what do you think? Can I do the same to you at that time?”

Yonghwa did not answer.

“I’m taking it as a no. Am I right Yoomi?”

Yoomi nods eagerly.

“People do mistakes and find a way to get out of the mistakes. So do the secretaries. If they did mistakes, tell them, correct them. Not took them out of work.”

Yoomi reasons with a twinkling eyes.

She loves it when her brother is cornered.

She thought smiling.

“But.”

“You know I’m the one who keeps my word Director Jung.”

Yonghwa closes his eyes long before he flicks it open.

“Alright. I won’t fire her.”

“Good.”

“But if she is the one who left, don’t blame me.”

“That will do.”

“I’ll take my leave first.”

“Okay.”

Mrs. Jung and Yoomi stares at Yonghwa until he disappears behind the door.

“How is it?”

“You are jjang omma.”

Mrs. Jung chuckles.

“But we need someone stubborn for him.”

“I guess so too omma.”

“Let’s find a candidate with bright smiles neh.”

Haejin said as he plays with his pen.

“Wae? You said you will be home today.”

“Doctor Park, you are needed in the director’s room.”

He smiles and winks at the nurse before he gets back to his phone.

“Shinhye can do it. I won’t come.”

“Come home after meal neh.”

 “I will be busy omma. And that is ridiculous.”

“Yah. How can a birthday party be ridiculous? And it’s your brother’s.”

Haejin rolls his eyes.

“I’ll hang up.”

He slid his phone inside his pocket and walks to the director’s room.

He went in after a few knocks and was greeted with the Hospital’s director.

“Sit down Dr. Park.”

He smiles and sat down.

“Is there something wrong director?”

The director sighs.

“You know during the last week party; my son saw your sister.”

Haejin smiles.

"I know that director."

“And he likes her.”

Haejin eyes widen.

“Deh?”
