Yonghwa stares at his phone for one, two, three seconds before he walks to it and pick it up.

He slides the green button and place it on his ear.

Silent.

Both lines are silent.

Shinhye bites her lips before she talk.

“Hello.”

“Hmm.”

Is Yonghwa answer.

“I just read that note.”

She said after few seconds of silent.

Yonghwa fake a cough before he answers.

“I see.”

“Do you still want to treat me to dinner?”

Yonghwa glances to his watch.

“It’s late and you had eaten.”

Shinhye sighs.

“But have you eaten?”

There is a long silent before he answers.

“No.”

Shinhye smiles.

“Then you have to treat me today. I don’t eat my full earlier. I’ll get ready in minutes.”

And she ended the call, leaving Yonghwa blinks his eyes before he can fully caught her words.

He slowly stands up and fixes himself and wears his coat before he walks to the door.

Yonghwa was greeted with Shinhye cheer and beautiful smile as he opens his door.

She slightly bends her body to the side and greets him while doing a peace sign.

*imagine it like this*

“Annyeonghaseyo director.”

Yonghwa smiles and shakes his head.

He shoves his hands in his pocket and clears his throats.

“Kaja.”

He said and walks ahead of Shinhye to the elevator AGAIN.

Shinhye grins widely when she saw his smile for the first time and follows him.

The two finally settle in a cozy and warm restaurant after few minutes’ drive.

Yonghwa ordered spaghetti for him while Shinhye ordered salad for her.

Yonghwa leans his back on the chair; his eyes are lingering around the restaurant.

He somehow feels uncomfortable sitting alone with his secretary that night.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is kind of romantic, which Shinhye loves it a lot.

She let her eyes roams around it.

“It’s beautiful.”

She unconsciously speaks out loud.

Fortunately Yonghwa nods from her comment.

“I used to come here.”

Shinhye is quite surprise that Yonghwa talks to her but she is more to happy.

“Really?”

“They serve the best spaghetti.”

“I should order spaghetti.”

“You can do that another day.”

“Ahh right.”

Shinhye answers with an awkward chuckle.

“He doesn’t mean that we will have another dinner together right?”

She thought.

Yonghwa nearly wants to slap his mouth for talking carelessly.

He is lucky that Shinhye doesn’t ask further or she will sense his nervousness.

Their food arrives after few minutes and they devour it silently.

“Noona.”

Shinhye stops shoving another serving of her salad when she heard familiar voice.

She lifts her head and founds that Hyungsik’s close friend walks to their table with a girl.

“Hyuk ah.”

The guy named Minhyuk smiles adorably at her.

“Why are you here noona?”

“It’s a business trip Hyuk. This is my Director.”

Both Minhyuk and the girl look at Yonghwa.

“Annyeonghaseyo.”

Minhyuk greeted.

But Yonghwa eyes fall on the lady beside him.

He narrowed his eyes on her which makes the girl flinched.

“Oppa!”

Minhyuk and Shinhye both look at them.

“Eunji ah, you know noona’s boss?”

“He is my older cousin.”

Eunji answers with a slow voice, avoiding Yonghwa’s piercing stare.

Shinhye looks at Yonghwa and then at the two students.

“Did your parents know that you are out at this hour Hyerim?”

“Deh oppa, omma and appa know that I went out with Minhyuk.”

“Hyukkie, are you guys dating?”

Shinhye asks with a teasing smile, trying to light up the atmosphere.

Minhyuk rubs his nape and smiles shyly.

“Deh.”

Yonghwa crosses his arms and clears his throat.

“Ahh noona, I guess that we have to get going.”

“Yeah, and we are on our way out too.”

Eunji continues with a nervous smile.

“Right. You guys should go now. See you again sometimes.”

“We’ll take our leave oppa.”

“Go straight home after this. It’s late.”

“Deh oppa.”

The two bow at them and went out of the restaurant in a rush.

Shinhye giggles.

“They must be scared of you Director.”

Yonghwa doesn’t answer; instead he took a sip of his juice and clears his throat.

“We need to eat before it turns cold.”

And he continues eating his food.

Shinhye grins.

They then finished eating and head back to the hotel.

Shinhye, before she sleeps she texted Yonghwa.

“Thank you for the dinner Director. Good night.”

Yonghwa reads the text and smiles.

“She is really something.”

And he drifted to sleep.

“You are home Shin.”

Shinhye puts her luggage beside the door frame and went to hugs Mrs. Park.

“How is the trip?”

“It’s tiring but very exciting omma.”

“Of course. It’s your first.”

“Deh. I learn many things, found out a new skill and I’m getting comfortable with the company.”

“Chinca? It’s great then Shin.”

Shinhye smiles.

“What are you cooking omma?”

Shinhye asks as she went to check the pot on the stove.

Shinhye widens her eyes and rushes to the small library in their house and scream when she saw Mr. Park.

“Wow. That was louder than before.”

Shinhye doesn’t wait any longer and hugs her appa tightly.

“I knew you are home when I saw the stew.”

Shinhye giggles.

“Ahh, I failed to surprise you then.”

Mr. Park said when Shinhye finally releases her hug.

“Aishh appa. I hardly see you at home. What’s with the surprise?”

Mr. Park laughs.

“How’s your trip?”

“I’m having lots of fun.”

“Chinca?”

Shinhye nods.

“Let’s go out and leave your papers for now appa. We have lots to catch up.”

“Arasseo. I’ll be out in seconds.”

“Not gonna buy that. You are coming out now.”

Shinhye said while placing both of her hands on the side of her hips.

“I can’t win over that.”

Mr. Park looks at his table and sighs in defeat.

“Arasseo. Let’s say bye to them for now.”

“You saw Hyerim?”

Yonghwa nods while he looks at his maid who was taking out his clothes.

“Hyerim’s omma calls me. You went to the restaurant for dinner?”

“Yes.”

“Why?”

“I just feel like eating some spaghetti.”

“Alone?”

“With Miss Park.”

Mrs. Jung smiles.

It’s the first time Yonghwa went out for dinner with his secretary.

Her cold and fussy son Yonghwa went out with Shinhye.

“Did you guys celebrating something over dinner?”

Yonghwa sighs and turns to Mrs. Jung.

“I was sick, she helps me a lot. I treat her dinner to repay her.”

“Ahh.”

Mrs. Jung nods few times.

“You can go now.”

Yonghwa said to the maid.

“How was the deal?”

“We’ll get it. The wrap up was done perfectly.”

“Good job son.”

Yonghwa smiles and grabs his towel.

“I’m going to fresh up.”

Mrs. Jung smiles.

“Deh, take your time.”

“My son is the most handsome when he smiles.”

Mrs. Jung mumbles as she makes her way down.

“Why are you smiling omma? Good news?”

“Yes. We’ll get it.”

“Really?”

“Yong is confident enough that he smiles.”

“He smiles?”

Yoomi stops combing Soohyun’s hair, jaw dropped due to shocked.

“Yes he is.”

Mrs. Jung chuckles.

“When did he last smile omma?”

Mrs. Jung shakes her head.

“I have the feelings that he will smile often after this.”

“Wae?”

“Nothing. Just my instinct.”

Yoomi glance upstairs to her brother’s room before she shrugs and continues to doll her daughter.
