“I can walk.”

Yoonyoung said when Haejin helps her walks to their room.

He ignores her and scoops her in his arm before he puts her slowly.

He turns around and calls someone as he walks to the window to pulls the curtain.

“Ahh yeh. Can you see if I have important surgery today and tomorrow?”

Haejin opens the window as he waits and walks to the wardrobe before he took out a casual wear.

“No? Okay. I’ll take two more days off and please refer to me right away if something crucial comes up. I’ll let Director knows. Thanks.”

He smiles and ended the call before he went in the bathroom to change.

He went out few minutes after with fresh scents that makes Yooyoung shuts her eyes to feels it.

She opens her eyes in instant when she feels his breath on her face.

“Oppa. What are you?”

“I’m checking. I thought you are sleeping.”

“I’m not. I’m not sleepy.”

“Do you want to freshen up? I can help you.”

“Kenchana. I can go by myself.”

She tried to stands up but was stopped by Haejin.

“Mianhe.”

He said, eyes on her.

“I shouldn’t do what I did to you.”

“I’m.”

“I’ll treat you right. I’ll try.”

He cuts her off before she can say anything.

Yoonyoung has the tint of suspicious on her face but she nods.

She feels her heart flutters when Haejin leans and kisses her forehead long before he leans back.

“Now, let me help you.”

He succeed in making her fall into a daze as she let him carries her in his strong arms and brought her in the bathroom.

She just let him rips her clothes as if she was possessed.

He then put her in the tub that he had filled with warm water.

Yoonyoung can smell the vanilla and musk scents as her body sank in it.

It feels warm, it feels calming and it feels special that Haejin did the effort.

“Gomawo oppa.”

She manages to mutter and smiles after she said it.

She is tired to be a shadow instead a figure during all these years when she always be the solutions of Haejin’s misery for not able to confess his love to Shinhye.

She wants to feel the love from Haejin.

She saw Haejin smiles.

“Stay in here for 10 minutes.”

He pats her hair which makes her feels emotional.

“Oppa.”

She called.

“I’m here. I’ll be here.”

He whispers with a guilty smile and swept away her falling tears.

“Did you talk with President?”

“No, omma is sleeping when I’m home. Only our maids are around.”

Shinhye nods.

“Don’t worry. Omma will accept you.”

“I really had started to worry Director.”

“And why was that?”

She shrugs.

“I feel uneasy.”

“I’m here right. You just need me in this.”

Shinhye shakes her head.

“President looks so scary when she said that she will be eyeing me. You know the looks that your competitor shot at you.”

Yonghwa laughs.

“You watch too many dramas Miss Park.”

“I do but in this case, I am saying about my real feeling.”

“What about we go out and have lunch together?”

“No. I need to go home for lunch. My unni is not feeling well when they come home this morning. I want to see her.”

Yonghwa nods.

“Okay. Then how about dinner?”

“It will be akward Director.”

“Arasseo. I’ll talk to omma again neh. Don’t think about it and go prepare for the meeting.”

He cups her cheek and smiles lovingly before he went to sit in front of his computer.

“Deh.”

Shinhye answers and walks out.

“Where is oppa?”

Mrs. Park point at Haejin’s room and smiles.

“He is taking care of his wife.”

“Chinca? Daebak. The Jeju trip is a success I guess?”

“I think so.”

Mrs. Park answers and turns off the heat.

“Put this on the table and we can eat.”

“Deh.”

Shinhye puts the soup bowl and whispers to Mrs. Park.

“Can I interrupt them?”

“Just knock on the door and asks if Haejin wants to eat here. Your unni need bed rest.”

“Okay.”

Shinhye skips to Haejin’s room and knocks.

“Oppa, do you want to join us for lunch?”

He glances at Yoonyoung who was sleeping and nods.

“I’ll be out in a while.”

He said and pats her hair.

Shinhye grins and walks back to the dining table.

“Oppa will be here in a moment.”

She and Mrs. Park had seated when Haejin walks and took a seat beside Shinhye.

“Give your oppa a hug.”

He spread his arms to embrace her and Shinhye quickly hugs him tight.

“Do you miss oppa?”

“Of course.”

Shinhye answers with a smile.

Haejin kisses Shinhye’s head before he releases her.

“We don’t buy any souvenirs for anyone. Mianhe.”

“Kenchana oppa. Are you having fun?”

“Slightly. Yoonyoung starts to feel pain after we walks around Udo.”

“Chinca?”

Shinhye pouts.

“But is unni okay now?”

“Yes. She is sleeping. The baby is fine too.”

“Cut down with the talk and let’s eat. You have to go to the office too Shin.”

Mrs. Park said while she pours some soup in their bowls.

“Ahh yes. Let’s eat oppa.”

Haejin nods and starts eating silently.

Shinhye is quiet too while Mrs. Park keeps looking at them both.

Haejin did not glancing at Shinhye like he usually did and it brings a relief to her.

“Maybe he really had open up for Yoonyoung.”

She thought.

“Omma, maybe I’ll be coming home late. There is a meeting out.”

“Okay.”

Mrs. Park answers shortly.

“Ahh oppa. I introduce someone to appa and omma yesterday.”

Haejin stops eating and looks at Shinhye.

“Someone? Dugu?”

“My boyfriend.”

“You had a boyfriend?”

Mrs. Park saw how Haejin grips on his chopstick before she looks at his shock expression.

“Deh oppa. He is my Director.”

“Director? Not Seunghyun?”

His eyes soften as he stares at Shinhye who was talking happily.

“Aniya oppa. Seunghyun ssi is just a friend.”

“Oh.”

He nods few times.

“When will you introduce him to me?”

“Soon.”

She giggles.

“Omma I’m done.”

“Okay. Just leave it there.”

“Oppa, can I meet unni for a while.”

“Sure. Go on.”

“Haejin, between you and Yoonyoung. Everything is fine right?”

Mrs. Park asks when Shinhye had gone into Haejin’s room.

“We are fine. I’m sorry for the mess I made. I made everyone worried unnecessarily. I’ll cherish her.”

Mrs. Park smiles.

“I hope you will not change your mind Haejin.”

“I’ll not omma. I’ll try.”

Mrs. Park nods.

“And about Shinhye.”

“It’s hard but I’ll try my best.”

He said with a smile.

Yonghwa walks in after he knocks on her mother’s doo and saw that Mrs. Jung was preparing to go out.

“Omma. Where are you going?”

“Do you want to talk something important? I’m going to meet President Kim for a while.”

“Why?”

Mrs. Jung sighs.

“About her daughter.”

“Omma, why are you still going to meet them. I had said that I won’t go to any blind date.”

“This is not a blind date Yong. Calm down.”

“How am I going to calm down? You are saying okay to my relationship yet you still going to meet President Kim?”

“I’m not saying I had given my consent.”

“I heard.”

“I said I’ll give you time. Not that I will agree right away.  So, do what I ask you to since I’m being nice.”

“President!”

“Lower your voice.”

Mrs. Jung said calmly and raise his head to look at Yonghwa.

“There will be a party this weekend right? Go to the party with So Eun.”

“Omma, I will be going there with my secretary. She is invited too.”

“She has to find her partner. Your partner is So Eun and it’s final.”
