“Director.”

Yonghwa raise his head and look at Shinhye.

“Hmm.”

He responses while pecking her lips.

“You have to go to a meeting with the audit team.”

Yonghwa smiles and nods before he gives her a smooch.

“Deh miss secretary.”

He then pulls her in a tight hug instead of letting her go.

“I really want to do this.”

He said while caressing her hair.

“So this is how people feel when they fall in love.”

He said in almost a whisper.

Shinhye bites her lower lips while she hides her smile.

Yonghwa moves his face a bit from her and caresses her cheek with his forefinger.

“You are the first who makes me feel like this.”

He started.

“I can’t stand a day without seeing you; I got jealous over little things.”

Yonghwa chuckles as he locks his fingers on her waist.

“And you teach me how to smile like normal people.”

“How do you know that you love me?”

Shinhye waited with thumping heart after she asked.

Yonghwa still wears the smile as he gazes on her face.

“Do I need a big reason? I just knew this is love.”

Shinhye’s phone starts to vibrate again and Yonghwa saw the ID on the screen.

 “And I don’t like this guy when he doesn’t even have any reason for me to dislike him.”

“I know I love you, not just attracted to you, but I do love you.”

Yonghwa leans to give her another kiss before he pulls back.

“I better go. Right?”

Shinhye nods and fix Yonghwa’s tie and suit.

“I love this.”

He said with his eyes lingering on her.

Shinhye smiles.

“But director, can I have a request?”

Yonghwa furrowed his eyebrows but he nods.

“What is it?”

“Can we keep it a secret?”

He frowns.

“Why?”

“You know, I’m a secretary and you are the Director. Our gap, it’s too big.”

“I love you, and you said you love me too, so what’s the need to keep it as a secret?”

“Director.”

Shinhye sighs.

“Okay, we’ll go with your request. But act natural when you are with me.”

“I’ll do that.”

“Thank you.”

He said with a smile.

Shinhye giggles.

“I’ll get the file for you.”

“Alright. Take the yellow cup with you too.”

Shinhye grins.

“I’m sorry for that.”

“It’s okay. I’ll drink it even if you bring my coffee in pink cup.”

He winks and took the file from Shinhye before he walks to the meeting room.

Shinhye was smiling from ear to ear before she was disturbed by a text message.

-Shinhye ssi, are you okay? You did not accept my call.-

“Oh right, I totally forget about Seunghyun ssi.”

Shinhye quickly dialed his number and he answers it right away.

“Are you fine?”

“I am. Sorry Seunghyun ssi. I forget to inform you.”

“It’s okay. I’m just worried. I’ll fetch you later?”

“Oppa was going to fetch me.”

“Really? It’s okay then. Maybe we can eat lunch tomorrow?”

“I’ll see if my boss has no work out.”

“Okay. See you later then Shinhye ssi.”

“Deh. Thank you.”

Shinhye ended the call and feels bad when a thought suddenly cross her mind.

“What if he really likes me?”

She remembers what Hyungsik told her last time before she went to China.

Flashback

Shinhye was folding her clothes and Hyungsik was lying on the couch while flipping Shinhye’s fashion magazine boringly.

“Put my baby down if you just want to ruin it.”

Shinhye said when she glances to Hyungsik.

She then went to her flower vase and changed the water.

“You got a bouquet again?”

He said while he puts down the magazine on its place.

Shinhye nods.

“Seunghyun ssi is sweet right?”

She giggles and put it back on its place.

“That’s not sweet noona.”

He said while he sat down.

“What is it then?”

Seunghyun smiles.

“Noona, I think Seunghyun hyung likes you.”

“What are you talking about? He is oppa’s chingu.”

“Noona, you know nothing.”

Hyungsik said with a sigh.

“Wae? What that I didn’t know?”

“Why would he wasting his money to buy you roses every day? He even sent it home when you are not working?”

“Because I said I love roses?”

“Noona, I give up.”

Hyungsik raises his hand as defeat signal and went out of Shinhye’s room.

End of Flashback

“What if he really likes me?”

Shinhye remembers how he looks at her when they go out together.

He even gives her expensive bracelet as a present.

“Omo.”

Shinhye stands up while she widens her eyes.

“Ottoke.”

“What ottoke?”

“Director!”

She exclaimed in surprised before she calls him in normal tone.

“Director.”

Yonghwa leans a bit to her with furrowed eyebrows.

“Hmm. Something bothering you?”

“Ani ani. Nothing is bothering me. I’m totally alright.”

“Are you sure?”

Shinhye nods quickly which make Yonghwa chuckles.

“Arasseo. I won’t bother you with asking you continuously.”

Shinhye smiles a bit.

“Come into my room. I need to discuss something with you.”

“Deh director.”

Yonghwa went ahead of her while Shinhye took her notebook and pen before she shuffles to his room.

He was about to knock when she got a call.

Shinhye rushes back to the telephone and answers it.

“Jung Enterprise Director’s office. Can I help you?”

Her smile turns sour when she heard who call.

“Yeh Miss Kim, I’ll check it out with Director in a minute.”

She ended the call with a groan and took a deep breath.

“Why did she tell me all the personal things between her and Director?”

Shinhye proceed to Yonghwa’s room and walks in after a knock.

She turns her attention on the left of the room when she found Yonghwa standing by the window.

“You took long time just to get those things.”

Yonghwa said when she walks to him.

“I got a call for you.”

“Me?”

Yonghwa look at his phone and found that he turn it off during meeting.

“Who is it from?”

“Miss Kim.”

She answers with indifferent tone.

“What did she want again?”

Yonghwa sighs and sits on his chair.

“She wants to know if you are aware about the blind date.”

Yonghwa raised his head from his phone and studied Shinhye’s expression.

“She told you that?”

“Yes. And she wants you to call her back, by your own phone because that lunch appointment is supposed to be a date for you both. And with me tagging along, I kinda ruin your moment.”

“Miss Park, I.”

Shinhye cuts her before he can finish his words.

“Do call her director.”

Shinhye then proceed to look at Yonghwa’s appointment and gives him the details before she turns her heel to walks out.

“Wait Miss Park.”

He stands and walks to her.

“It’s my aunt. She wants me to find a girl to date because she thinks I won’t find anyone. And Miss Kim is the one who suits her taste.”

Yonghwa holds Shinhye’s arms.

“You are the person I’m in love with. So, please trust me. I won’t go on a date with her.”

Shinhye then burst into a laugh which makes the latter surprised.

“Why are you laughing?”

“Don’t you find this exciting?”

Yonghwa frowns.

“What is?”

“I can experience some drama like love relationship.”

She giggles.

“I am a drama fan; blind date is common in dramas. Chaebol falls in love with secretary but have to marry his family choice. It’s common right director?”

She smiles.

Yonghwa gives her a sharp gaze.

“Ours are not drama. It’s hard for me to accept my feelings for you; I need lots of courage, flatten my ego to confess and I’m not going to ruin it just because my aunt set me up with anyone.”

Shinhye taps his cheek.

“I know it. I’m an easy going lady Director. I just want to reassure you that I’ll be fine with it. Even though I can sense that Miss Kim likes you.”

Yonghwa grins when she said that.

“Is that why your mood change abruptly this morning?”

“When you ask me to join your lunch date? Yes.”

Shinhye pouts.

“I saw how she looks at you. Women’s instinct is very sharp Director.”

Yonghwa smiles.

“You are jealous.”

He said while smiling.

“I am.”

She answers right away.

“I don’t know when but I had fallen in love with you. And yes, I’m so jealous of her.”

Yonghwa leans to her and pecks her lips.

“Thank you for changing me.”

Yonghwa said before he envelopes her in his embrace; for the nth time that day.

"Smile director, you are in love."

She chuckles and tightens her hold on him.

I'm so damn happy!!!!!!
